Japanese aftermarket car electronics firm Pioneer has recently launched a new lineup of multimedia receivers and a range of automotive sound system components. Like its latest range of CD receivers, Pioneer multimedia receivers boast enhanced level of smartphone connectivity within the comfort of the cabin.
The new receivers support the latest Android and Apple iOS platforms, allowing users to select and play songs in their smartphones' playlists via the head unit.
Building on their expertise of AppRadio Mode (previously known as Advanced App Mode), Pioneer expanded the boundaries of conventional in-car entertainment systems to empower drivers with seamless connectivity of their portable devices. For enhanced usability, the latest multimedia receivers will also come in two sizes - six-inch and seven-inch.
All latest multimedia models will also come with MIXTRAX - an in-house developed technology which enables users to create a non-stop music experience. MIXTRAX allows users to choose from DJ-inspired transitions, such as cross fading, high-pass filter, and phaser.
In addition, Pioneer has also launched a new range of speakers - the R-series - on top of the existing A-series and G-series. The new speakers sport a unique design and improvement in sound technology - all these without putting on a huge price tag. Based on Pioneer's award winning Sound Pressure Level (SPL) subwoofers, the new Pioneer TS-W3003D4 subwoofer will cater to motorists who are addicted to bass.
Summing up the range of new products is Pioneer's new GM-A series of amplifiers. Motorists with a discerning ear will enjoy a wider range of amplifier models which come with in-built variable high-pass and low-pass filters, doing without the need for crossovers. These new models are also slimmer by up to 35 percent, freeing up the space in the cabin or boot.
