PLQ Mall plays host to new GAC showroom launch

VINCAR Group, the sole distributor of GAC models in Singapore, has celebrated yet another step in GAC's local expansion with the launch of its new showroom at PLQ Mall (Paya Lebar Quarter) on 15 May 2026.

This comes after a strong showing last year, which saw GAC claw its way into the top 10 in our list of full-year registrations from all authorised car dealers in Singapore for the year 2025.

And with the local automotive scene slowly but surely transitioning to electrification, as well as Senior Minister of State for Transport, Sun Xueling's "promise" that every HDB town will have at least one EV fast-charging hub by the end of 2027, the demand for EVs may well continue to rise, be it out of popularity or necessity.

In this regard, GAC's local lineup does offer choices of models that do sit well with Singaporeans. The brand knows this as well, as evident from its new PLQ Mall showroom's showcase.

The brand's four-model showroom lineup offers buyers many diverse options to consider

This includes the ever-popular Aion V, GAC's all-electric, imposing SUV, taking centre stage in the brand's new space alongside the newest model in its lineup: The UT.

Cast your gaze wider and you'll also notice the Hyptec HT (the variant with the gullwing doors) and the GAC E9 PHEV. This completes a diverse lineup of crossover SUV, MPV, SUV, and compact hatchback, which should please discerning buyers in the east looking to experience the best of what GAC has to offer.

And of course, to celebrate the launch of its new PLQ Mall showroom, GAC will be offering a series of promotions and interactive experiences that will only happen/be valid over the weekend of 16 to 17 May 2026.

Radio DJs will also be onsite from 12:00pm to 02:00pm on both days. They will host interactive trivia sessions for showroom visitors, giving them the chance to win Paradise dining vouchers worth up to $50.

Subsequently, a snap and post campaign will also run till the end of May 2026. Visitors who snap a photo at GAC's newly opened showroom and share it on social media will stand a chance to win a 3D2N weekend test drive experience with either the Aion V or the Aion UT.
