Polestar has revealed a cheeky new walkaround film showcasing the Polestar 5, which is sure to delight fans of the James Bond franchise.
The film stars Hollywood actor Alexander Skarsgard, who has been driving a Polestar 3 himself since 2024. Produced entirely by Polestar’s in-house creative team, it offers an immersive look at the design, innovation, and performance that defines the four-door grand tourer, and offers a cinematic introduction to the car, inviting viewers to experience the future of electric performance.
You'll note the numerous references to the movie series, such as the inclusion of one 'Pierce' in the car's infotainment system, and the numerous questions about technology that is yet available - as far as we know, that is.
Built on the bespoke Polestar Performance Architecture that uses bonded aluminium to provide supercar-level torsional rigidity and increased safety, the Polestar 5 is available with dual motors, including an in-house developed rear unit, allowing it to develop 650kW of power and 1,015Nm of torque. It also makes use of an 800V electrical architecture and a host of sustainable innovations.
