Renault Captur production version revealed in design sketches

The production version of the Renault Captur has been previewed early in the form of leaked design sketches.
If fans were expecting the model to be inspired by the concept version which featured in the Geneva Motor Show back in 2011, the production model looks nothing like it, but instead looks more along the lines of an oversized Clio IV.
The engine lineup will probably be carried over and will be offered with an all-wheel drive system. It seems that Renault will apply the same recipe used by Ford for its Fiesta-based EcoSport.
The concept had a twin-turbo Energy dCi 160 engine producing 158bhp and 380Nm of torque and linked to an EDC transmission that enabled the compact SUV to do the century sprit in under eight seconds before hitting a top speed of 211km/h.
The production model is expected to have its full debut next year either in Geneva or Paris.
