Renault throws shade at Tesla owners with new U.K. billboard

Renault has set up a billboard that makes digs at Tesla owners in the U.K.
The billboard is said to be located at a London service station and comes as part of a new campaign designed to highlight to Tesla owners just how the Scenic E-Tech is better than the Tesla Model Y. And it does so by switching its displayed message, broadcasting phrases including "This is awkward", "Elon-ger" and "You're probably good at other things" whenever it detects an approaching Tesla.
Renault states that its Long Range variant of the Scenic E-Tech can deliver a WLTP range of 610km, 64km more than any variant of the Model Y. The firm states that this variant of the SUV also undercuts the price of the entry-level Model Y in the U.K.
The all-electric Renault is offered in the country with either a 168bhp or a 215bhp electric motor and can be had with either a 60kWh or an 87kWh battery pack.
