Skoda reveals the Fabia Monte Carlo

Skoda has revealed the new Fabia Monte Carlo.
The new car makes the Fabia the third model from Skoda to be available in the Monte Carlo trim, following from the Scala and the Kamiq.
Touches made to the supermini for a more athletic appearance on the exterior of the Monte Carlo include the use of gloss black on the grille surround, spoiler lip, wing mirror caps, decorative side skirt trim, and the diffuser on the sports-styled rear apron.
Special Monte Carlo badges also feature on the front wings of the car.
The Skoda Fabia Monte Carlo also gets precision-cut head lights, featuring LEDs as standard, although full LED items are available as an option.
Inside the Skoda Fabia Monte Carlo, a red and black colour scheme dominates. This colour scheme is applied on the car's sport seats, while the dashboard, which features a horizontal accent piece, is coloured a bright red in the Monte Carlo car.
An optionally available 9.2-inch touchscreen comes with gesture control and Skoda's Laura digital voice assistant The door cards here as well as the centre console also get touches of red, while the armrests of the front doors and lower sections of the dashboard will get sporty carbon-fibre effect trim pieces.
Internationally, four engine options are offered for the Skoda Fabia Monte Carlo. The range starting from a 1.0-litre three-cylinder pushing out 79bhp to the range topping 1.5-litre four-cylinder with an output of 148bhp.
This engine will come coupled to a a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission as standard, and will accelerate the Fabia Monte Carlo from zero to 100 km/h in 8.0 seconds.
This engine also comes equipped with Active cylinder technology, allowing two cylinders to be shut down during low engine loads to aid fuel efficiency.
