The first six EV chargers in Tengah, one of Singapore's newest housing estates, are now online. Installed by SP Group, the chargers are located at Block 112 Plantation Crescent on Level 3B. They are at lots 250, 251, 252, 265, 266, and 267.
Tengah is still being developed, but when fully completed, it will be Singapore's first and largest smart and sustainable town. It will contain green and sustainable features, along with smart technologies, too. Eventually, residents across 18 Tengah precincts will have access to 32 SP Group EV chargers.

The compact AC chargers deliver 7.4kW, making them ideal for drivers who wish to charge their vehicles overnight. Slow charging puts less strain on an EV's batteries, which benefits their longevity.
EV drivers who utilise these new chargers will enjoy a 20% discount on charging rates for a period of one month, starting from 25 February 2025.
SP Group worked with stakeholders such as the Housing Development Board (HDB), and EV-Electric (EVE) Charging Pte Ltd, a company fully owned by the Land Transport Authority (LTA) that's in charge of coordinating the roll-out of Singapore's public charging infrastructure.
The guest-of-honour at yesterday's event was Dr Amy Khor, Senior Minister of State for Ministry of Transport & Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment, and Adviser to Hong Kah North Grassroots Organisations.
Dr Amy Khor said, "To Tengah residents, today's launch of Tengah's first EV charging points is a key step in bringing sustainable mobility solutions to the residents. By end of this year, two fast charging points and up to 30 overnight charging points will be installed across five Tengah HDB carparks."
"By integrating EV charging infrastructure into Tengah's eco-town masterplan, we are creating a more accessible and convenient environment for EV adoption and enabling residents to embrace a greener lifestyle."
S. Harsha, Managing Director, Sustainable Energy Solutions, SP Group, said, "The deployment of EV charging infrastructure in 18 Tengah precincts is progressing in step with the estate's growth as a sustainable community and its move towards greener transport."
"We will also explore deploying additional DC chargers to ensure a robust and future-ready charging ecosystem that supports the evolving mobility needs of residents. With EV charging easily accessible, we aim to accelerate EV adoption in Tengah and across Singapore, reinforcing our commitment to a connected, efficient, and sustainable transport landscape."
