Teck Lee LRT Station to open on 15 August 2024

Residents of Punggol, those attending lessons at the Singapore Institute of Technology and those working in the Punggol Digital District can now look forward to improved transport connectivity come 15 August 2024 with the opening of Teck Lee LRT Station.
Located along Sentul Walk, the LRT station is connected to nearby facilities via covered linkways to facilitate easy journeys to the school and business park.
The LTA has also announced that it has procured 25 new two-car trains for the Sengkang-Punggol LRT line, which will be delivered progressively from the end of 2024. These new trains will double the number of two-car trains in the line's fleet, increasing passenger capacity to better serve residents and meet long-term public transport demand.
The LTA has additionally announced that the Punggol Coast MRT station on the North East MRT Line is on track to open by the end of 2024.
