Premium Automobiles have launched the new Audi Q3 crossover as well as a new 2.0-litre turbocharged TFSI variant for the Audi A6, here in Singapore.
The Audi Q3 is the first model to feature Audi virtual cockpit plus. The system features three different views, including a new, sporty display.
A new natural-language voice control features an ingenious dialog manager can ask questions if necessary, allows for corrections, offers choices and defers to the speaker when interrupted.
Audi virtual cockpit plus is standard for Singapore, complementing the top-of-the-line equipment MMI navigation plus, where the displays will also appear on the Audi virtual cockpit.
The Audi Q3 arrives in Singapore exclusively with a 148bhp 1.4-litre turbocharged TFSI engine paired to a six-speed S tronic transmission.
Premium Automobiles is also launching the A6 2.0 TFSI here. Following the successful debut of the eighth-generation Audi A6, the new variant has added to the brand's mid-size executive sedan offering.
Alongside this new derivative, the Audi A6 range in Singapore will also feature the extended Audi connect suite of functionalities. The new engine variant complements the 3.0 TFSI quattro model, with both engines featuring an efficient mild-hybrid system.
The 2.0-litre turbocharged TFSI engine features an innovative 12V mild-hybrid system that reduces consumption while improving comfort. A belt alternator starter works together with a compact lithium-ion battery to allow the A6's start-stop to kick in from speeds below 22km/h. The system is also capable of recovering up to 12kW of energy during deceleration, storing it in the battery and using it to power the various ancillaries, reducing the demand on the internal combustion engine.
As a larger model, Audi connect on the Audi A6 goes beyond what's possible on the Q3. Car-to-X services helps to locate the vehicle should it be stolen, and it is also possible to remotely sound the horn and lights.
In a scenario where the vehicle may be used by another driver, the Geofencing feature will alert the owner if the vehicle has crossed limits of the defined zone, driven at an unacceptable time, driven too quickly or used improperly during valet parking.
Both the Audi Q3 and the Audi A6 2.0 TFSI will be available at the upcoming Cars@Expo, happening on 5 to 6 October 2019.
