Abarth is launching a new special series, the Abarth F595. A concentration of racing design cues, it was created to provide both maximum performance and fun without sacrificing infotainment technologies crucial to the modern-day driver.
Outstanding performance and responsiveness define the 162bhp, 1.4-litre T-jet engine. Fitted with a supercharged Garrett turbo, the powerplant enables a top speed of 216km/h. It forms the basis for the propulsion unit in the Tatuus single-seat racecars used in the Italian and German Formula Four championships.
Koni rear shock absorbers with Frequency Selective Damping technology are fitted as standard, improving performance and ensure perfect road holding capabilities. The Abarth-designed braking system also provides an optimal response and improved safety, consisting of 284mm front and 240mm rear ventilated disc brakes.
The engine is paired with manual transmission, but can be fitted with the optional five-speed automated manual transmission. The zero to 100km/h sprint takes 7.3 seconds with the manual transmission variant.
Available in hatchback and convertible versions, the new Abarth F595 features Rally Blue design cues, which are highlighted in the rear view mirror caps and the front and rear bumpers. The sporty look is further enhanced by the 17-inch Formula alloy wheels and F595 identification badge on the rear and fog lamps.
As for connectivity, the F595 is equipped with a 7.0-inch HD Uconnect system with built-in Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility as standard.
