Like a blockbuster Hollywood trilogy, the Peugeot RCZ R, is the epic finale to an evolutionary product journey that started with the original RCZ Concept that went into production, which then evolved into the three-time class-winning Nurburgring race car, that has since inspired the road going RCZ R.

Peugeot also claims to deliver intense dynamic sensations from the legacy of its race-bred experiences, with a bespoke suspension set up, a specific and distinctive wheel design, combined with a Torsen® limited slip differential to harness the power and torque available.
Two RCZ R's finished in a shade of red will be on display at the forthcoming Goodwood Festival - one on the Peugeot stand with the other performing dynamically during the Festival of Speed weekend.
The RCZ R will be piloted by Peugeot 208 GTi Ambassador for U.K. - Bradley Philpot. Bradley is a finalist in the recent Nurburgring 24-hour race that saw three Peugeot 208 GTi cars win their SP2T class.
The international reveal of the RCZ R is perfectly timed ahead of its launch at the end of the year. The annual festival - now in its 20th year - kicks off on the 12th of July and ironically a 100 years ago on that day, Peugeot demonstrated its performance prowess by winning the French Grand Prix by crossing the line in first and second.
Peugeot has a rich and illustrious history for compact, durable, highly efficient engines that have powered its products and it is appropriate that the brand's most powerful road car - the RCZ R - has its international debut at this year's Goodwood Festival of Speed.

The RCZ R utilises a more powerful and award winning 1.6-litre THP engine with 260bhp, making it the most powerful production model in Peugeot's history.
