Toyota A91-Carbon Fibre Edition GR Supra goes on sale in the U.S.A

Toyota has announced that the special A91-Carbon Fibre Edition of the 2022 GR Supra is now available for purchase in North America.

Limited to just 600 vehicles, this special edition is the most exclusive Mark V Supra to date.

The A91-Carbon Fibre Edition Toyota GR Supra gets a handmade carbon fiber front splitter with larger canards, alongside carbon fiber rockers for its sides.

At the back of the special edition car also rests a carbon fibre duckbill spoiler, which pairs with lower canards, all designed to improve the car's aerodynamic downforce.

The A91-Carbon Fibre Edition Toyota GR Supra also gets unique 19-inch wheels sporting a matte-black texture to complement its available matte-gray Phantom, Absolute Zero White, and Nitro Yellow exterior paint colour options.

There's an exclusive and refined interior to be had in the special edition car as well. Here, a red/black theme features with red stitching details throughout the Alcantara and leather trimmed cabin.

There are also 14-way power adjustable seats, carbon fibre interior trim pieces, and a leather wrapped three-spoke steering wheel coupled with sport pedals to look forward to here. A 500W 12-speaker JBL premium audio system comes as standard for the special edition model.

The A91-Carbon Fibre Edition 2022 Toyota GR Supra comes equipped with the 3.0-litre in-line six-cylinder engine, updated for the 2021 model year from 335bhp to 382bhp. Peak torque from this engine has also been bumped up to 499Nm.

The limited edition car will also sport all the chassis upgrades done in the Supra’s second year of production. These include the addition of lightweight aluminum braces, as well as the new front and rear bump stops and new damper tuning.
