Toyota GR Supra gets new 45th Anniversary Edition

Toyota has unveiled a special edition GR Supra, available in either a deep orange Mikan Blast or an ice cold Absolute Zero. The special colour options for the GR Supra 45^th Anniversary Edition are said to be an ode to the Supras of the 1990s.

The special anniversary edition car comes with a large, manually adjustable rear spoiler that rises about 76mm above the rear decklid. This spoiler comes with an adjustment screw that allows drivers to change its angle and the amount of downforce applied to the rear. 

Also new for the 45^th Anniversary Edition are matte black 19-inch aluminium wheels and black brake calipers that wear the 'GR' logo. A side panel graphic with a cutout Supra logo adds the final finishing touch, accentuating the vehicle's contours. And under the bonnet, the cars will also get their strut tower braces complete with the Toyota Gazoo Racing logo and finished in Mikan Blast.

A total of 900 units of the 45^th Anniversary Edition will be built, split evenly between the two colour options. The special edition car will be available with either the manual or the automatic transmission, but will come only with the six-cylinder 3.0-litre turbocharged engine delivering 335bhp and 500Nm of torque.
