Toyota revealed an unprecedented suite of 30 vehicles on display at the SEMA Show 2016. Toyota selected each vehicle to either honour the past, explore the present or reveal the extreme.

Among the extreme builds is the XTREME Corolla - Toyota took the standard Corolla and turned it into a two-door coupe, while also adding new wheels, a two-colour paintwork, a custom interior, a turbo engine, a six-speed manual transmission, Sparco seats and a JBL sound system.
The Sienna has also been given the 'Extreme' treatment. The super-wide exterior features a splitter, rear diffuser, spoiler and dual-exhaust, complemented with big TRD brakes as well as performance wheels and tyres. The luxurious Learjet interior can be controlled by an iPad, together with the air ride system.
Toyota also showcased a Land Speed Cruiser. It is a heavily modified Land Cruiser sport utility vehicle (SUV) with twin Garrent turbos, breathing into a 5.7-litre V8 engine, capable of blazing to 354km/h. With turbos 'the size of volleyballs' and a claimed output of 'more than 2,000bhp', Toyota is making its claim for the 'world's fastest SUV' title.
Another model on show is the Prius G. Building on the natural handling ability of the stock Prius, the Prius G offers much more grip - it pulled 0.99 g on the Willow Springs International Raceway skid pad, putting it in the ballpark of cars like the Corvette and the Viper.
At the SEMA Show 2016, the Toyota Motorsport GmbH GT86 CS-Cup also made its U.S.A debut. The first cup spec built off the stock 2017 86 model, the car is designed for a one-make race series. Its retro red and white livery pays homage to Toyota's racing heritage, while the extensive aero package offers functional downforce.
"The Toyota call to action is 'Let's Go Places,' " said Steve Appelbaum, Toyota Motor Sales National Engagement Marketing Manager. "This phrase encompasses what we are, what we do and what we create. It's our guiding principle and at the core of our promise to customers. Our SEMA display demonstrates the breadth of that promise, across all generations of Toyota vehicles."

These includes six Toyota extreme builds, which embody the SEMA spirit of imagination and innovation - taking stock builds and transforming them into something inspired.
