BMW has honed its 8 Series lineup with a refreshed exterior design alongside an enlarged infotainment screen in the cabin.
Top highlight for the range of cars the fact that they now get the BMW 'Iconic Glow' waterfall illumination in the kidney grille as standard, for an especially prominent look from the front.

The package adds horizontal struts onto the lower air intakes at the front, alongside a diffuser insert in the rear apron, which is finished in Dark Shadow metallic.
19-inch M light alloy wheels in a double-spoke design alongside an M sports brake system with calipers finished in blue finish off the package.
The range's V8-powered models will also be receiving the wing mirrors of the BMW M8, alongside a new front spoiler. These cars will also be getting an M sports brake system, the M sports differential and 20-inch M light alloy wheels in Y-spoke design.
All models of the new BMW 8 Series lineup will be available with the unique classic 'BMW Motorsport' logo on the bonnet, tailgate and wheel hub covers, that celebrate the 50th anniversary of BMW M.
The new cars are also available in four new exterior colour options: Skyscraper Grey metallic, San Remo Green metallic, M Portimao Blue metallic and BMW Individual Frozen Tanzanite Blue metallic.
In the cabin, the BMW 8 Series models equipped with six-cylinder engines now all feature the multifunction seats previously reserved for the V8 models.
An M leather steering wheel with multifunction buttons and shift paddles for manual gear selection of the eight-speed Steptronic Sport transmission now comes as standard in all the new BMW 8 Series models.
The V8-powered models however, will get an M leather steering wheel with a model-specific centre spoke design along with decorative stitching in the colours of BMW M GmbH.
The centrally-mounted infotainment display has also been upgraded to 12.3-inches from the previous 10.25-inch unit.
