Volkswagen has revealed the first teaser images of the interior of the all-electric ID. Buzz microbus, set for a full reveal come 9 March 2022.
The ID. Buzz will be available in seven single colour options and four two-tone colour schemes, and this combination of white and fresh colours will be carried through to the interior, appearing a as two-tone scheme on the seat cushions, dash panel and door trim.
Volkswagen states the new ID. Buzz's interior will also incorporate style elements from the T1 generation, albeit transformed for the current era of electric mobility. The interior will also feature background lighting (optionally available with up to 30 colours) and will even house functional and intelligent features such as a bottle opener and an ice scraper.
On the sustainability front, the Volkswagen ID. Buzz will also come absent of any materials of animal origin. It will sport a polyurethane steering wheel that delivers a high-quality look and feel, while the seat covers, floor coverings and headliner are all made out of recycled products.
