Whiskey distillers The Macallan and Bentley join forces for sustainability

Single malt Scotch whisky distillers The Macallan and luxury British automotive manufacturer Bentley Motors have announced a unique partnership that will build on their rich heritage to promote a more sustainable future.

United by a dedication to mastery, craftsmanship, and innovation, the two brands will share learnings in sustainability from their respective industries, while pursuing uncompromised excellence. 

By bringing together The Macallan's mastery of whisky-making with Bentley Motors' expertise in the world of luxury cars, the collaboration will create inspirational new products and immersive experiences that deliver timeless luxury balanced with sustainability.

The global brand partnership was announced at The Macallan Estate in the Speyside region of Scotland, alongside the launch of the new Bentley Flying Spur Hybrid. It will be the next step in Bentley's journey towards its Beyond100 sustainability strategy. 

Amongst The Macallan's key goals are becoming carbon neutral by 2030, promoting responsible sourcing, and cultivating a global community of artisans. It is also committed to having a fully electric passenger vehicle fleet on The Macallan Estate by 2025. To this end, it will take delivery of two hybrid Bentleys by 2022.

The partnership will deliver a wide range of projects over the coming years, including jointly-developed products from both The Macallan and Bentley, curated customer experiences and collaborative events.
