"Bound to set new standards in design, technology, and space." These are the words Kia used to describe its newly launched Syros SUV, built on the reinforced K1 platform, which offers enhanced crash protection and stability.
The exterior of the Syros features Kia's signature starmap LED lighting delivering a futuristic vibe, and it also sports the distinctive Kia Signature Digital Tiger Face. Along with R17 (17.2-inch) Crystal Cut alloy wheels, streamline door handles, puddle lamps with Kia logo projection, and muscular contours all contribute to the vehicle's dynamic and standout appeal.
In its cabin, the Syros sports a 2,550mm wheelbase and the first in-segment rear sliding, reclining, and ventilated 60:40 split rear seats, allowing for adjustable boot space. Its interior is further elevated with a 30-inch Trinity Panoramic Display panel with Connected Car Navigation Cockpit, dual-pane sunroof, sporty alloy pedals, and 64 colour ambient mood lighting.
Additionally, the Syros offers first in segment Over-the-Air (OTA) software updates with automatic updating of 22 controllers, ensuring the vehicle is always equipped with the latest software and features. The Syros also comes with several other features such as Level 2 ADAS with 16-Autonomous Safety Features and 20 standard robust hi-safety features.
Two engine options are available: A Smartstream 1.0-litre turbo petrol with 88.3kW (118bhp) and 172Nm of torque, and a 1.5-litre CRDi diesel with 85kW (114bhp) and 250Nm of torque paired with manual and automatic transmission.
In addition, the Kia Syros will be available in four standard trims (HTK, HTK (O), HTK+, HTX) and two option trims (HTX+, HTX+ (O)).
