World's first: Chrome-wrapped Lexus LFA ready for deliver in Australia
24 Jul 2012|3,444 views

The owner is a 36-year old from the north eastern Australian state of Queensland, who is apparently in the retail business. The chrome-wrapped LFA is production no. 304 out of 500 and one of 10 units of the V10-powered supercar that found its way in the Down Under. The supercar was then given its chrome treatment by Exotix Graphix in Melbourne. The car hasn’t actually been sprayed or coated in real chrome. Instead, Exotic Graphix has applied a removable chrome adhesive to the car’s carbon fiber panels.
With all the work done, the owner will be able to park the shiny LFA in his garage. It may also have set the other 499 owners to owners-to-be thinking about a custom designed LFA.
Now, we all know that the Lexus LFA is a limited production of 500 units, don't we? So how do you make something exclusive even more so? An Australian buyer has the answer for you; give the Lexus LFA chrome treatment and it becomes a world's first. Well, at least for now.
