ZipZap, car subscription service, launches in Singapore

ZipZap, a new car subscription platform developed by the team behind GetGo, has announced its official launch in Singapore. While traditional car ownership remains the most commonly-known option for access to a dedicated car, ZipZap presents an alternative option.
ZipZap's platform enables subscribers to access their own dedicated car through a flexible monthly, all-inclusive plan covering insurance, maintenance, road tax, and offering the stability of ownership without the longer-term financial obligations. At its core, the service promises dedicated car access, a seamless user experience, and clear, transparent communication at every stage of the journey.
Built from the ground up as a standalone offering, ZipZap also brands itself as having been crafted specifically for longer-term use with the ability to personalise plans tailored to suit the user's needs.
Subscribers will benefit from a dedicated car of their choice that aligns with their lifestyle, as well as a single, transparent monthly fee covering insurance, servicing, road tax, maintenance, and even perks like doorstep delivery and fuel discounts bundled in.
As well as that, ZipZap promises that its users won't have to face downtime or interruptions as a replacement car will be provided whenever their car is sent for maintenance.
Beyond flexibility, ZipZap offers dedicated one-on-one support to guide users through the process of selecting the most suitable car and subscription plan. This even includes a personal financial health consultation, helping customers make informed, sustainable choices that align with their goals. ZipZap believes that such services help to make car access not only more convenient, but also more financially savvy.
As part of its launch, ZipZap is also piloting Subscribe & Share, a first-of-its-kind feature in the market. The feature, currently in beta, allows subscribers to share their cars on GetGo's carsharing platform to be rented out during periods of non-use to offset their subscription fees.
Further updates will be provided as the beta programme progresses, but for now, interested customers can visit this link to find out more information.
