CONTRADICTORY ! Carlite says "The acceptable level of petrol upon returning is above 1/4. Below that will be subjected for investigation, and penalty later on. For needle type petrol, penalty of on the line will be $7. If below the line will be $15." Hyundai elantra meter is always on the 1/4 level and carlite has no response to that whether everybody should be penalized...... very contradictory and ridiculous policy! We understand you are upset about the Toyota Altis petrol penalty. Afterwhich, our response team did not manage to answer your doubts with regards to the Elantra petrol, causing you further anger and frustration. We apologise for the miscommunication and will seek to improve their responses to better attend to your enquiries.

As mentioned for acceptable petrol level during return, is more than 1/4. Petrol leaflets with the sample petrol levels are printed and placed in all cars which are also accessible on our facebook page. This standardise what 1/4 level of petrol should be for both digital and analog (needle) type petrol gauges. For the Elantra Petrol, we would like to thank you for highlighting. Although the petrol leaflet sample level was printed incorrectly, all previous customers including yourself have rented multiple occasions and adhere to the stated sample petrol level. No penalty was applicable to this group of customers including yourself who adhered for the Elantra, as our responses team referred to the same petrol leaflet.

The correct acceptable return petrol level for the Elantra should be 4 Bars instead of 3 Bars. We will be replacing all leaflets in the Elantras and also updating our facebook page. To express our sincere apology for the correction, all Elantras will have their fuel tank filled to the brim during the replacement of the leaflets.

My first booked car was a fluke as there wasn't enough battery charge to start the engine, though the staff was friendly in assisting me to get a refund back for the booking. However, the deposit was really expensive as well ($300)(For Probation Plate) as the per 15 mins booking (because you cannot park carpark A to carpark B and it has to be the same carpark, meaning you need extra time to end trip resulting in more $$$)
