Just have my new MPV installed with Tintsy Cool with their lastest UV400 package and this is my 3rd car with them since 10 years ago.
Trent are still as friendly as before and patiently explained to me their lastest range of products.Job was done within 3 hours.
Although this is not the cheapest in the market, will definitely recommend for the service and workmanship.

Well done again.Thank Trent & His team.

I went the highest series of platinum 99 for my car few years back 2010.

Due to a accident , I went back to reinstall my firm for 2 window. I told them I want back the same spec, the boss quote me $xxx and I agree to proceed the work.

Upon finishing all the job , due to my curiosity , I took the remaining cut away piece on the floor and go measure the spec using their machine, surprisingly they change a lower grade firm to me.

WOAH!!!! I confront with the staff and this was what the boss instruct them to do and they just follow..... Okie ... This is my last time to their CON shop....

Whoever reading this , you can choose not to believe me. But when this happen , don't blame me not sharing this.

You will never know what they install without taking out the firm.

Hi there,
My apologies to u if I didnt attended to u personally and I believed that it's due to some misunderstanding or mis commiunication with our junior staff.

Due to LTA regulation,for all our tinting packages consist of several tint(VLT),light,medium and dark tint to apply on so as to be compliant to the rule.
For eg.our Platinum Series consist of Dark tint 99%IRR,Medium 90% and Light IRR 60%IRR to apply to different type of windows to get it pass the LTA regulation.All these different tint and IRR under the same grade are the same cost.FYI,a light tint film that reject IRR60% can be more expensive than a dark tint 99% IRR.

(LTA regulation : Front 70% VLT Rear 25%.)
Some of the" original car windows" currently are already close to the max of LTA standard,so we can only apply the light tint IRR 60%.
You can also opt for the dark 99%IRR at the same price but we cant guaranty LTA passable.

Tintsy Cool have been in this industry for more than 10 years,we open for business and not doing unethical things or con.

2 weeks back ago, fix up 2 rear passenger doors on 99% IR films, jobs are nicely done but I felt the outlets aircon are not doing good enough , seems the aircon are not cold and feels rather warm inside the workshop at all. Hope they could just maintain it well.

Had this installed on my car for 5yrs. Overall satisfied with the product. The dashboard still looks good and protected from the sun. Heat rejection is good too, afternoon driving and car is still cool - aircon set at 24deg. Fan speed 2-3.
Around year 2 there was some bubbles at the rear windscreen but called them up and they took out the old flim and replaced it with a new piece. No questions asked.

I have just installed the Platinum plus solar film from Tintsy Cool and it was immediate that i could feel the difference on the heat rejection. Trent was patient and good explanation on what i am getting and simulated on the heat rejection before and after with the film. Highly recommended.

Had owed this review since about 9 years back.
Just done up my fourth car with Tintsy Cool and everything were still good and decided to apply their latest 99 IRR package.
Their prices are not really different from 2 years ago when I did my Rav 4 with them.
Trent,the boss are still friendly as usual and never take for granted as I am his old time customer.
He checked my car and changed one piece of the film with some dust trapped that I didn't even notice.Thump up!!

Accompanied my friend over to Tintsy Cool to get his solar film changed. Price was reasonable and very competitive compared to other merchants in this biz. The young chap who did the solar film installation was friendly and knew what he was doing. Total duration for the installation took about an hour, with the old solar film being removed as well.

The new solar film was well installed and made the windscreen very clear. Good job.

Installed top of the range Tintsy Platinum 99 for my new car with them after my previous experience of excellent great heat rejection properties of their solar film on my previous car. On-par with other top brands.

Some minor issues with film colour being different after installation on front windscreen. Not the fault of Tintsy Cool but due to distributor installed a different coloured solar film on the front compare with the other windows and when overlaid the new solar film over the orginal, colour difference became obvious. When back the 2nd day and they change another film for me to match the colour of the remaining windows no questions answer and still all smiles.

Great customer service given by Trent and his team. I highly recommended them!

Was quite tied up with work previous weeks and I would say the person for Tintsy Cool is friendly despite I postpone my appointment twice. Went over at re-scheduled time and got my ride installed with the solar film. Was shown the reading and was quite happy for the whole process starting from my enquiry call.

Have owed Tintsy Cool this review as I would like to observe more for their solar film before reviewing it. Called them weeks ago to enquire about their packages. After spoken over the phone, booked an appointment and proceed the following day.

Left my car there and stroll around the area for some furniture, have lunch and then my car is done after about 3 hours. Paid and drove off happy. Up to now after about 2 weeks plus or so, everything is good. No unwanted glue marks or etc. Generally quite happy with their customer service as the person explained to me the different specs and individual benefits across the different packages.

Few weeks got my car to install with Tintsy. They really need to improve their workmanship and professional skills. After installation, back home and notice the following:

1) The front left side window's cover was not covered back properly. I called Trent about it and went back to rectify in the following day.

2) Many bubbles found in one of the corners at the back of the screen. After making a feedback, Trent has spoken to me last week and I went to their workshop to rectify the problem. They have removed the back screen film and replaced a new film for my car.

3) The windscreen was not properly clean before installation with the film, notice that there was a small dirt was cover under the film. The dirt according to Trent was a norm in the industry. So, I suppose it is ok and just to live with it.

Went for the 99 and I got what I paid for on my Camry. Chan measured the IRR (which I am after - 99%) and I was assured before leaving the a/con workshop. Need to get use to darker interior which I like. Done on 13 Mar and workmanship was good. Some bubbles appear the next day (as been told earlier) and will monitor the next few days. Hopefully, these will dry up and normalize.

After sourcing for few solar film company, decided to settle down with Tintsy Cool. Price is not the best but at least i know what i'm paying for. With his device showing different IR, I can rest assured that what I have is a genuine 99% solar film. Now I have a cooler ride with my bimmer!
