Searched the web for a Lexus specialist as my IS250 was having some intermittent engine idling issue and burnt engine oil smell. Sent multiple times to my old workshop and after $2K+ problems still persist and was told to go back to Borneo Motors.
Found the reviews here and were a bit skeptical initially but went ahead and found Rick to be friendly and technically sound.
Was pleased when he showed me pictures of where the source of the problems are and got it rectified immediately. What a relief! Car now run smoothly.
Will definitely recommend Alliance to any Lexus owners out there.

Clearly the best workshop. Had since resolved issues on my Lexus IS/GS, Merc C/GLA and Audi A4. Had been to many other workshops prior but has stay with Alliance for 7-8 years simply Rick - the boss is good in fixing any problem. "Driving a Toyota Allion. My car has some weird creak sounds at the front esp when going over humps, decided to send to Alliance Auto to check + regular servicing after reading all the good reviews. Rick attended to me and advised beforehand he would need a day to check and I can collect car at the end of the day. When I was collecting, he said the sounds were coming from a couple different sources and that while he managed to fix the rattling sound, the other plasticky creak sound he could not determine and would probably need to strip the dashboard etc and need more time which isn't possible within a day. What his team did was to fully disassemble the undercarriage, check the individual parts, grease and reassemble. I found his explanation very reasonable and honest. I would like to add that I have gone to a few workshops before including one toyota 'specialist' and all recommended change of parts such as absorbers, engine mount which I did but didn't solve the problem. From the start Rick didn't recommend any part replacement but was more interested to diagnose the problem. In the end he charged me for servicing and a reasonable labour fee for troubleshooting, disassembling etc. I don't see any workshop going through this hassle and time to troubleshoot without part replacement or works. TLDR, if you are a lexus or toyota owner, just find Rick and team at Alliance Auto. They are car doctors, actually interested in finding the underlying issues to help customers and make recommendations only as necessary. Finally found a reliable workshop. Lexus owners please take note. 1. Went to workshop 1 to change plugs. Gave me the wrong range (0.6cm instead of 0.9cm) 2. Went to workshop 2 to change new mountings. Told me upper control arm damaged. 3. Went to workshop 3 to decarbonized and wash throttle. (Only workshop without problem) 4. Went to workshop 4 to diagnose engine running rich problem. Told me to change fuel filter first because they were unsure of where the problem lies in. Asked me got decat or not some more... 😅 Finally googled ""Lexus Specialist"" and decided to take leave and gave Alliance Auto a try. Spent 9hrs to do my car and all problem solved and explained to me. 1. Plugs changed to iridium range 2. Control arm only loosened. Tightened back up for free. (Was quoted $800 by workshop 2) 3. Fuel filter no need change (no error code) Drove back home with all my headaches gone. Fell in love with this car again. Nearly nearly traded in.
