HANA MOTORS

On Saturday night, my Mazda 3 displayed a master warning sign (! Within a triangle) and i-stop sign in amber flashing. That worried me that the i-stop system could be faulty. I checked sgcarmart and found this workshop and the excellent user reviews. I called workshop on Sunday evening around 6 pm about the problem and was told to bring car in. On arrival, the boss was so friendly and checked the car using a diagnostic tool with a display screen to check on the critical parts including the engine. Found that the battery circuitry was OK and the problem was only caused by a weak battery. I-stop system is OK. So I agreed to replace it with Q85 Eveready Battery at $180 with one year warranty. Also changed dirty air con filter in cabin for $35. The prices are cheaper than those quoted by Shell Station which serviced my car 2 months ago.
I found the boss very knowledgeable and will explain matters that I asked. He checked my tyres and said no need to rotate them. Hence he is an honest person and does not try to add service unnecessarily. I am going to service my car in his workshop in future and not at Shell Station after my 3 year free serving at Eurokars ended.

Anyone who drives an NA, NB or NC series miata know that the cars really need alot of knowledge to service n repair properly. Also, the parts are not easy to find in singapore.

I had a great experience at the shop. They were able to immediately identify the problem of my radiator leak and weak fans. The most amazing part is to be able to source my parts and repair within the day itself.

This is not to mention the value for money price and good technical experistise.

Boss Ah How and his son are super friendly and knowledgeable, especially with Mazda cars.
Have been visiting them for nearly 3 years now for my Mazda 3.
Plus-point is that they open on Sundays, so you do not need to worry that your workshop is not open to help you in case anything malfunctions.
They always greet with a smile and are eager to understand your issues/observations and work on your car.
No hard-sell whatsoever experienced with them. In fact, they will advise you how to save future maintenance cost.
If you know them well, you would also know that they are very kind hearted people.
Knowing that there is such a good team and so familiar with Mazdas, my next car would most probably be one too!

And after a details check after servicing done, he will let you know in details what need to be changed and what part still can last. Got used mazda 3 car from dealer and wing mirror spoil. Hear say is a common problem for wing mirror.

Fortunately dealer can absorb the cost and direct me to KHY.

The boss Ah hao is very friendly. Shop is run by the family and once appointment is made, they attend to you quite promptly and help to guide your vehicle still.

What can be improved
1) Cost perhaps. One mirror repair cost $230 to replace the housing
2) Parkig woes. The building dont enforce parking and alot of cars anyhow park until very hard to drive into the lot

What can be more depressing than your car broke down on a Sunday? I am lucky that my regular workshop open even on Sunday! In fact, they open every day! That's one of the reason why I have been going back to them, no need to be afraid anytime when your car give you problem, as KHY is always there to fix any day! They are the well known good at Mazda cars, though I have changed my car from Mazda 6 to Odyssey due to family commitment, but I still go back to them.
