Very disappointed with the Sin Ming workshop service. Bought a used CarTimes unit from another dealer. The dealer called CarTimes workshop to verify waranty status and was told the warranty is still valid and 2nd owner will enjoy the warranty. So I proceed to buy. Sent in for 20,000km servicing and request to update as 2nd owner. But the shocking part came in. I need to pay $250 for warranty transfer and is subjected to technician checks because I DID NOT BUY THIS USED CAR FROM CARTIMES. I didn't even need to pay for KIA or Honda Warranty transfer in the past. This is the first time I buy a PI car and probably the last time. Next, about the servicing, I am surprised as I was told that my car will be ready in less than an hour. I then request for tyre rotation and was told $30 before gst. Within 15minutes, I received a call to say my car battery needs to be changed. I am only there for 20,000km servicing. So fast need to change? I was also told the need to change air filter and aircon filter. Sensing strange, I didnt change the battery, air filter and aircon filter. When I make payment, I asked if they have done the tyre rotation and pumped the tyres. The counter lady said yes. Today, I suspect one of my tyre is losing air. So I sent to my usual tyre shop. Guess what, the workshop technician did NOT do any tyre rotation. How do I know? Well, i had done touch up on one of the tyre because of nail before. And today, when checking the tyre that is losing air, i saw the touch up hole and it is obvious the tyre wasnt rotated. Come on, I paid $30+8% gst for tyre rotation service, but it wasn't done. No wonder servicing is so fast completed. Very disappointed. Haiz… - Anthony Ng

I would like to express my gratitude and appreciation for Amos and his team in correcting a manufacturer QC issue with my new car. Initially, I had reservation about purchasing a vehicle from a PI, largely because of what I've heard about the lack of follow-up on a purchase. My car was unfortunate to have inherited critical QC issues which needed some extensive work. Amos and his team have been very receptive and responsive in handling the repair under warranty. Amos in particular was instrumental in making sure that the repairs and testings were carried out in a timely and proper manner. Even at points where there seemed to be no progress, Amos was very assuring and had the ability to calm my anxieties. At various stages, Amos was clear in his communication of the status of things and responded to my enquire on timely basis. I am impressed upon his positive , all can-do attitude and with patience. He pays undivided attention to queries and make the customer feel that he is totally focused on the vehicle amidst his many other responsibilities. Amos is well-fitted for this role and he certainly makes a difference to the customer as well as the company. Good Job, Amos! - Jo CH
