I had enquired about the installation of the solar film previously through SgCarmart. Danny replied promptly to my email, and also responded via mobile when needed. We made an appointment to go down last Saturday.

When my wife and I went to the shop on Saturday, the staff at the shop were friendly and helpful. We had already decided on getting the crystalline film when we went down, but the staff made us doubly convinced by doing a demo with the light and infrared meter. It's really quite impressive what the film blocks out. When my old film was removed (they didn't charge for film removal), I was surprised to find that it only blocked 10% of infrared waves! (shocking!)

We were told that the installation would take 2-3 hours, so we took the circle line to NeX to shop, but were pleasantly surprised that in just 2 hours, they had called to tell us that our car was ready. (very fast!) When we got back to the shop, Danny explained to us how to take care of the film, as well as some immediate post-installation care (eg. not to wind down the windows for 48 hours, and not to worry about some of the bubbles seen in the film for the time being). True enough, the bubbles disappeared over the weekend, and I can't wait to drive under the hot sun.. haha.

On the whole, a wonderful experience at DS Specialty Services. Would strongly recommend their services.

(PS: and 3M isn't really much more expensive than the other branded solar films!)

Boss Danny took the effort to explain in details on the different products. Finally decided on the 3M crystallite for my bmw 5 series.

The workmanship is well done. When my car is ready for collection, the staff showed me the finished product on my car are genuine (with the 3M logo)

Overall, very satisfied!!

I think my only way to thank and show my sincere appreciation to Danny and team at DS Speciality is to share my great experience of them today. I have heard stories of bad installation even though the film is good. I recently collected my car and was given a free voucher to a well-known solar film but saw many postings on their bad installation. I made a hard decision to forgo the voucher and decided to go for a good solar film brand with equal good workmanship cum service. My great experience starts with a call to Danny to inquire about the packages and price. He took time to explain and gave a good sincere quotation which I immediately booked an appt over the phone. Visited the shop today am and as most postings mentioned, I was greeted by a customer-oriented team and Ah Boon gave a good explanation of the various options of film. The dust-free enclosure also gave much assurance of the good commitment that DS provides to customers. I left for kopi immediately after passing the keys confidently to the team. I also do not want to stay to "supervise" and add unnecessary pressure to the team although I think they dun mind. After about less than 2 hours, I received a call that it was done. The collection experience was great and find that DS provided service from customer perspective e.g. leaving the 3M logo mark intact to ensure that original film were used and asked if I would wish to leave them on so as to also leave as evidence for future buyer. They was thoughtfully placed paper notes at every window controls at doors to prevent any unnecessary wind down of windows within next 48 hours. They are also patient to explain the after-care etc. I will say that the money is well spent for the great service. Have yet to test out the full capability of the film and will look forward to good test when parking at open spaces in the next few days. Great work and KUDOS to Danny (boss) and team. Sent my car for installation. The person in charge gave me a detailed introduction on solar film and the benefits of 3M solar film. No hard pushing with great customer service. Value for money, I am not sure as today is only the 2nd day.

Despite the price is slightly on the steep side, I personally think that the solar films are worth the price I am paying for. Other than having quality 3M films, I even have the boss himself to serve me personally. Good customer service � Thumbs Up! After reading many good reviews about this merchant, I decided to give this solar film company a try. As Clean environment for installation and professional workers are what I have observed, I would recommend this merchant for users who willing to spend slightly more for quality solar films and good customer service.

I feel that DS specialty Services has done a good job on filming my Audi A7. The person in charge do not discriminate other brands of solar film, but instead he explain the features and benefits of each of the individual brands. After consideration of what I need, I decided to go ahead. Upon installation, I drove around with my new 3M solar film and am very impressed and pleased with the differences. I am considering whether I should approach them to install the films on the window of my new bungalow.

This is my 9th car. I have used many film from prices ranging from $300+ to more than $1200. But I can say that I have never feel satisfied as this 3m films. I can feel the difference after installing the film. My fuel consumption also improves. Danny and his service oriented team are so friendly and excellent that they did an excellent job for me. Danny recommended me 3M films that meet my requirements. Try it and u will love the 3M films.

This is my 3rd car where I personally chose the solar film installation myself, previously V-Kool and Jap metallized films. Was doing a bit of research comparing 3M's crystalline with Jap Nano-ceramic films, both at 97 - 99% IRR, but won over by 3M. Got my films installed at DS Specialty, over the weekend and I am pretty impressed with the whole experience. Danny (the boss) is not pushy, he's been in this for 9 years and the longest for any 3M film franchisee. Gave me an a honest assessement on films comparison. During the actual installation, he tells me that I am free to test the films that they put on with the light meter to verify that they are using the films I ordered from the materials left over and this assuring, as I have been cheated before when J83 V-Kool films were used instead of X75! Here's the best part, he does the QC personally. In fact, 2 side panels were redone due to his QC. This to me, is the deal breaker. These films wil last me 10 years - so it's best to get them done well. I got that service with DS. Great job Danny & gang! Adrian - Mazda 2

So many neutral newbie feeback, let me add some weight. I have used DS a while back for my house. The boss is patient and very customer oriented. I find their work very good too. It has been 2 years and I have no issues of bubbling etc. I have moved recently and will definitely use them again for the house and 2nd car. A repeat customer means they are doing something right especially in this kind of competitive market. 5 stars from me!

When I called to ask for the price, I was surprised that their solar film and on the high side.However, they quoted me that the solar films are from 3M. After reading some comments from people, I decided to give it a try. After I get back my car, it really feel different. Cool! I would say my money is well-spent.
