Highly recommended. Got to know of this place through Google Maps good reviews. Spoke to boss on first meeting and realised those were not solicited reviews but all true reviews from customers as the boss did not subscribe review services. AMA Automotive really deserve to be mentioned and recommended for the followings: 1) Honesty. The boss, together with his servicemen, would discuss on the car issues and only recommend repairs and maintenance if the items are not required to be replaced. The boss only recommends replacement when it is absolutely necessary (Which I think is the most important aspect when it comes to doing business). 2) Super efficient. Most workshop I enquired about repairing my SLK roof requires downtime of 3days but AMA completed it within a day. (Handover car at 10am, next morning able to take back car.) 3) Cost friendly. Again, one of the msot important aspect in business. Most of the workshops quoted cost that were 2x-3x more than AMA (under same conditions i.e. using reconditioned parts/new parts). AMA recommends using reconditioned/refurb parts to keep cost down and only recommends new parts when necessary. Which IMO is a matter of choice. 4) Lastly, Excellent workmanship. Their head honcho, Ah Hao, is extremely well versed in car mechanics and was able to repair all my car issues (my car has a lot of issues) with precision (Not through trial and error). Most of the workshops were unable/wrongly diagnosed the issues but Ah Hao was able to correctly point out and rectify all the issues with the above 1)-3) manner. I am not one that usually does reviews but I believe AMA automotive deserves my recommendation. Melvin's AMA Automotive is a one-stop shop that really helped me when my car was rear-ended. He assured me that they would take care of everything - including getting a surveyor to third party claims and arranged for a courtesy car for my use during the time my car was being repaired. The repair was efficient and well executed and I received my car in just a couple of days! The courtesy car too ran smoothly as they assured me they ran a check on it before handing off to me.
