Nick is a very patient tuner. My factory Mercedes B200 was a higher specs car with torque of around 250Nm. Initially was a half day affair but I saw Nick stretching out to a full day as I waited patiently. By end of day, my torque was adjusted near 315Nm base on what I ask for, I need more of lower torque power increase. That's more than 50Nm gain if base on my car factory specs. BHP was gain more than 40. When I fire up my car, started a new driving experience during my gear 1 to 2, then 3..... its was a big change and "Monster"....fast, it makes me remember a WRX 2 litre turbo drive of launching with huge amount of heart bounding G force, leaving my heart behind. My present German build car's 1.6 litre turbo engine was around 2 litre power, now can reach at 2.5 litre engine power. It can easily outrun most 2.4 or 2.5 litre cars in the street. The only "Regret" is.......... why I did not do it earlier! - Lee Beng Seng

I had read good things about Monster Tune online and decided to take the plunge. Dealt with Nicholas, who was always very patient and responded to my questions promptly on chat even when late in the evenings. (Sorry Nick!) I was having difficulty deciding how deep down the rabbit hole I wanted to venture. When I found out that we drove the same car (Audi A5 Sportback), Nick agreed to take me for a spin in it to help me getting a better idea of the possibilities and what to expect. (His is a beast of a car by the way) He also gave me some frank advice on how far he felt would be practical for me to take it, given that mine was a daily drive and I ferry my young kids in it. This was refreshing because it was not the usual sales pitch, where more is always better. Anyway skip forward a week, the parts have arrived and been installed and the car has been tuned. Having been on stage 1 MTM for the last 5 years, I have always felt that the car was a good balance of practicality and power. But I did not realize how much more the car had to give until after Monster Tune. Area under the curve has increased significantly especially at the mid range even over my old stage 1 tune. Charts and numbers aside, the drive speaks for itself. The car is much more agile, and response is hair trigger. At speed the car always feels like it has more to give. The bottom line, 2 thumbs up! I took a little long to write this review because I wanted to review it only after a few weeks of driving. Contacted Alvin for a stage 1 tune for my Skoda Superb 1.8t and he was super professional about it. Cleared some of my doubts on reliability and power output. I can't explain how detailed he was but after about 7 maps (took about 3 hours), he still wasn't happy with the mapping for my car and arranged for me to come back to fine tune due to other cars waiting for the slot and it was close to 5pm then. Immediately felt like my car lost 500kgs and became super responsive on the throttle, but totally driveable (not like those sprint boosters). Now I'm always first off the lights and best part is it requires so little effort and my fuel consumption actually improved. After the fine tune (which Alvin narrowed down to my k&n cai), the power and torque curves smoothened out (although I really couldn't feel the difference). And that to me showed how professional and detailed he was. Even for something which I couldn't feel, he didn't just leave it but wanted to address the problem. Now after driving for 3 mths, it still brings a smile to my face everytime I drive it. Great job guys! - Aloysius Chong
