Had my brand new BYD M6 sent to Autoshield Solar Film for their PPF. I customised 6.5mil and 7.5mil PPF. The thicker for the doors and bonnet for more protection. Gave them 5 full days to do up the car and they did a good job with 1 time minor touch up on a side door but instead they replaced the entire panel which is a good gesture on their service level and quality of work. Resprayed my Honda Jazz and immediately wanted to protect the paintwork and sent to Autoshield Solar film to try out their PPF. It was good and I added on the bonnet. Days later, I decided to contact Nic to paste the whole car. Excellent workmanship and good service from their team till I tipped them because they worked many days of night OTs on my car. As they have explained that there is a need for 1-2 touch up, I did arrange for a touch up and they slot me to help me rectified the parts that need to be touch up. Had been with Autoshield for my last 5 cars and will continue to stay with them as their Autoshield Diamond Series is the best. Always ask my dealer not to paste and discount $200-300 and I top up to get Autoshield Diamond Series. My wife is very sensitive to light as she has operation on her eyes and we have new born baby so we want the highest 99% UV cut and highest heat rejection yet can pass inspection. Thus far, only Autoshield Solar Film meets our standard and requirement. Some other shops in the west or need Woodlands say will pass but when failed inspection, they claim their films can pastebut paste on my car because my glasses are factory tinted thus failed. What nonsense. At least I don't get this kinda excuse from Autoshield Solar Film. Paste already pass means pass and they do use the same inspection center meter to show me the readings. I will always support local and honest businesses like Autoshield Solar Film. And my car insurance are always sign up through their Autoshield HQ. I own a quite famous Interior Design Film for more than 10 years in Singapore and I am well versed in solar films. So while I don't know how to paste it, I know how to see and feel a good one. There are many kinds of 1 ply tinted films commonly found in JB or 1-2 ply tinted films commonly touted as those $100-200+ whole car pricing at Carousell. If you are not very familiar with the understanding of solar film and be lured by just cheap pricing, you will find those that you pasted not effective in Singapore. The poor quality leaks in more than 70-90% of heat into the car cabin and being trapped inside, it does more harm to the interior leather and dashboard than goods. Sum up, Autoshield Solar Film is definitely one of the best area. In term of pricing and quality, they are the Best but I have only go for their Autoshield Diamond Series after testing their films as I want the best and after pasting, I can do need to bother about it for 5-7 years. It is cheap if you take $750 whole car and depreciate over 7 years ie only slight above $100 per year. Cheaper than 1 year petrol or servicing. In my case, cheaper than my monthly parking. I came across Autoshield Solar Film as I was their car and business insurance customer of theirs. So I gave them a try few years back when I collected my car. It was one of the best decision I have made and today, they do help me to paste solar film for my customers' home. I always trust their workmanship and they employed their own staff and not "borrowed" or those illegal in/out daily workers. What I am trying to say is when they own 100% of the staff they employed, there is accountability in their workmanship. I am very paranoid in this area because in my renovation trade, if we are caught using "illegal" installers, we can be dealt with by the regulator. Spoken to Nic several times before and from his very open and honest way of operation, you will understand what I mean if you ever met him, you can trust your car to be tinted by them. I was a very decent and professional workshop that as a petite size female, I wasn't intimated by the workshop guys. They are all very service oriented and no teasing or chatting up but simply being very focus on their solar film matters. I was very impressed with them on my previous car and now I am their loyal returned customer. My 3rd car with them and I have also engage them to do up my house using their Autoshield Diamond Series. Workshop space if can be bigger to house more cars when they are busy will be ideal. After having a pleasant experience with Autoshield Solar Film, I wanted to protect my original factory paintwork and had the entire car PPF by them with 7.5mil thick self healing and anti yellowish PPF at only $3900 nett when some others quoted me $5900-$12,000. There are some lower quality of course but for my kinda car, I want the better PPF to protect my car. The low quality will risk peel or comes with bad glue that will scratch my car when removing. Nic was so nice to show me his PPF pasted on his cars and after months of healing, it simply looks gorgeous like a think layer of hard lacquer than shines. And after pasting, I don't need ceramic coating or polishing. Just a weekly car wash will do. Autoshield down time is 3-4 days but Nic did warn up with faster down time, there is a need to come back for 1-2x touch up. Unusually PPF installation takes around 5-7 days. I only required 1x touch up and this takes around 30 min. All, I am very pleased with Nic and his Team service on my solar film previously and now my PPF. I owned a workshop in Singapore and Malaysia. Happened to chance upon Autoshield Solar Film who helped me to remove my darker tint and replaced with his Autoshield Diamond Series to pass inspection. After using their Diamond Series, I realised that my 2 Malaysian BMWs tinted in JB are hotter than my BMW and my van in Singapore that uses their tint. Thus I sent my 2 Malaysian registered BMW for Autoshield Diamond Series and indeed they feel cooler after pasting. In my 20 years plus of driving and my workshop contacts, Autoshield Solar Film is by far the best I have come across. Forget about those scammers selling $200-300 claiming high heat rejection. I was conned before. Now that Autoshield Diamond Series has spoilt me, I'm always with them.
