Rented twice before and so far was ok. Cars were COE cars so was expected. 1st and 2nd time rented a wish and Axio and dealt with Jayden who was friendly and nice. The axio central locking was not working though but it's a COE car so can't really complain. 3rd time is a horrible experience though. Dealt with Jiawei this time and rented a vios for 2 days for my daughter's bday. 2nd day of rental I suddenly received a call from him asking me when I wanna return the car. I was surprised cause I rented the car for 2 days and should be returning it the next morning but Jiawei told me he called me previously and told me that he needs the car for CNY rental to someone else. I did not receive any call from him and the only time I spoke to him on the phone was when I called him to ask him about the IU unit which does not detect flash pay cash cards. He then sent me a photo of his call record saying that he did call me. All I saw in the screen shot was of my incoming call to his phone. After some to and fro WhatsApp chats. He said he could have remembered wrongly. No apology or even a paiseh. Just says "noted return tomorrow thanks." Implying that I agreed to return 16 hours before my actual return time and spoiling my day and all he says is noted thanks. Why would I pay full 2 days price for 30hours of usage. Be humble bro. When ure wrong just apologise. Well, cut things short, I will never deal with Jiawei again. After this experience, I doubt I will ever rent a car from them again, I won't mind paying a bit more from other rental companies.

Update: upon returning the car, a few of the customer relations staff spoke to me and were apologetic towards my experience. It was great to see great customer service back from fresh cars again! - Indra Hassan

Only rented one car from Fresh Cars so far. Pricing was extremely affordable because the cars are COE cars. The car (Honda Fit) seemed ok on the outside, even though the mileage was very high (>250K km) However, the engine already showed signs of having trouble handling more than 80kmph on the expressways, as well as going up ramps The car was also filthy, like it had not been washed or maintained in between renters. The tyres were not OEM, and required more pressure, but this was not highlighted to me, until I did some trial and error at the petrol station to make the ride less bumpy. But the suspension was shot and the car was creaking even though the extra tyre pressure helped a little. The dash cam kept having issues, and I alerted the team, but I was told to just keep resetting the cam if there is a memory card issue. Suggestion to business - have some pride in your cars. There's no harm in COE cars if they are well maintained and decent. Renters want to drive with a peace of mind as well. If you are looking for cars on a budget, this place does give you what you need.
