Then 8 weeks later on the last day of the original contract, we get a call saying they had not agreed to what was earlier agreed and the terms are now different and will cost us more. It was either agree with their new terms or give car back straight away. We said this was unfair and so dishonest as no one in Optima's team contacted us at all and they sprung this right on the last day (and right before CNY!). We asked for one additional month grace so we can find another place to rent from - but even this additional month, they cannot honour the current rate, they had to charge us more! Some BS about not able to change the system from the senior manager who apparently runs the team!
Service was great before the last manager left late last year, since then, they have been sloppy, non-communicative, won't admit they have been in the wrong, and been so arrogant and terrible client servicing! Didn't even apologise for their screwup. Bad experience!
In response to the feedback, I like to take this opportunity to first apologise for the misgiving . I like to reiterate the recourse and remedy that was provided in due course. Due to the timeline and gazetted holidays. There was a miscommunication which was fully explained as followed. I am sorry that we did not meet with expectations. We will however continue to strive to ensure customers satisfaction as a priority.
Due to the complexity of the terms and conditions outlay. We remain steadfast in our motto of client satisfaction. We provided the exact same solutions even when the terms and conditions is not in our favour. With full knowledge its not beneficial to the company stands, we value the client support and trust. Therefore, we made a call to maintain the same rates terms and condition in such way which was however rejected. We acknowledge the oversight and have made it a priority to ensure smoother delivery always.
