"AFTER THE REPAIR FOR OVER 4 MONTHS (18 OCTOBER 2008 TO 27 FEB 2009) STILL MY MOTOR BIKE NEVER BACK TO ITS FUCTIONAL CONDITION"
THE STORY:
ON OR BEFORE 0700HRS 17 OCTOBER 2008 I WAS DRIVING MY MOTOR BIKE FROM MY HOME IN PASIR RIS TOWARDS MY WORK IN KEPPEL SHIPYARD TUAS AND SUDDENLY my motor bike stop its engine along the road of Pioneer Road corner Shipyard Road near the ESSO Petrol Kiosk, so I try to start the engine back but unfortunately unable to start anymore so I called up my cousin to help me to look for the motor repair shop coz I'm on hurry to go to my work. So he manage to got a motor shop and he inform me that there is an towing car coming down to take my motor bike, to their shop in Jurong then by 1700H the Motor Shop called me that they are unable to repair my Motor bike so I look for another shop so its happen that I saw the AIK LEONG MOTOR CO. Just nearby that area so I try to make an inquiry and give him (Mr David) all the details then he said OK we can repair so I pass him they Key,
Then the next day he call me to inform & Wanted me to see first all the parts that need to replaced and we discuss the charges that he mention estimated around $1200 Singapore Dollar so without hesitation because I need my motor bike to be recondition back so I agree and tell him to go ahead the repair and he ask me to put up a deposit of $1000 Dollars for the spare parts then I have only a $300 Dollars on that time so I tell him to give him the remaining on the other day just proceed in ordering the parts, so by 21st October 2008 I came back to his shop with the $700 Dollars & And he issued me the unofficial receipt (see attached) Until 2nd week of December 2008 he called me that my motor bike is OK already so to my excitement I'm on hurry to come down to his Shop to take my motor bike then when I arrived to his shop he discuss to me all the parts expenses & The labor (check list he showed to me) & Amounting $1900+ then he give me a discount lower down to $1850, then by that time I have only $500 so I give to him then I ask him the receipt but he said I pass this to you after you pay me the balance $350 Dollars so I agree & Trust him coz my bike was for me OK already. So I drive out the Motor Bike & I was notice that looks like no power & Smokes coming out but the mechanic told me that its ok that one then after a while no more smoke will coming out. So I continue to drive out then I do toping up the petrol nearby ESSO Petrol Kiosk, then proceed to go back home, but when I reach to Jurong Town East the motor stops the engine I try to re-start its ok can re-start back but no power so I immediately go back to the shop & Informed him the problem so he told me to wait & Check the Motor but he said OK we need to change some parts so we need to wait until the parts will arrive from Taiwan so I agree no choice. So I left my motor bike until end of February 2009 when I call him, so he said OK you can collect your Motor Bike now. So I came down to his Shop felt happy coz he said is OK already then I try the Motor Bike to my surprise & I notice that the Motor Bike condition still the same as the first time I tested no POWER and always stop the engine. So I tell him again the problem then he mention that the spare part needed to replaced is not available. So on that time I felt something fishy already so I tell him to drive back first my motor bike home coz I have some important thing to do, but my plan will be to come down to the KYMCO agent to show them what was the real condition of my Motor Bike & To make sure that is it true that don't have available spare part to replace. Then the next day the KYMCO Agent told me that there is an available spare parts. So I told David that my motor Bike have an available spare parts why you mention that don't have. So he ask me to come down to his Shop again to discuss & He mention to me give me one more day to settle this (I recorded our conversation coz I don't have any more trust to him) but after 4 days he never call me back so that's why I call him and ask the status of my Motor Bike but seems like nothing happen and he ask me to come down again to his Shop (4th March 2009) to discuss, so I come down together with my brother, nephew & Cousin to have my witness but when I ask him hows my Motor Bike then he mention he cant do anymore so I ask him then how about the money $1500 any amount you can return to me & The receipts of the spare parts that he replaced to my motor bike but he mention nothing he can give me & Said you can make a complaint if you want.
