Despite an initially positive discussion with AVIS' marketing team and a commitment to refund the overcharge, the Operations team continues to deliver a one-star experience. After four days of silence, I had to follow up again—only to be told the refund would take another 10 to 14 business days. What an epic customer experience this is turning out to be.

In December I rented a vehicle from AVIS at 390a Havelock Road for 30 days at $3,175. When I extended for two more weeks, I was quoted $1,537 but was later charged $3,142—$1,604 more than expected. Despite multiple follow-ups, AVIS has only offered a $950 refund, which remains unpaid. My total charge stands at $6,318.46—with $1604 owing to me—with little urgency from AVIS to resolve the issue. This experience raises serious concerns about their billing accuracy and customer service.
