Although my car is old, aircon was working fine - cold air coming out from vent. Problem was it turned on and off. Car mechanic immediately identifed it as a "Condenser issue" But I argued that it was most likely not a condenser problem coz it could still produced very cold air, just that aircon shut off occasionally, and then turned back on by itself after a short while. It could go off and on a few times in a day. Cost $550 to replace a new condenser including labour. Few days later, NEW aircon stopped working - same issue as previously encountered with old aircon(!), so confirmed my diagnosis was correct in the first place even though I know nothing much about cars nor aircon. Car mechanic "Meddle a bit, got aircon working again", so I thot problem fixed. Few days later, same issue. This time confirmed NOT aircon condenser as root cause not resolved with replacement of new aircon - totally wasted $550 for nothing. Turns out to be a LOOSE connector issue, which could have been resolved with $50 all in since a connector does not cost that much. To all mechanics reading this...Pls enhance your technical knowledge and not jump to conclusion that expensive replacements are always needed - sometimes a cheap and simple solution will suffice. It costs me $550 unnecessarily, and it costs Karcool a poor reputation.

I just bought a qq from a rental company that is bad in shape but this workshop eventually fixed the problem I had.

1st day @ Karcool kaki bukit - oil leak. 2 of mechanics help me look through what problem I had and advice me to change sensor and gasket at a attractive price.

2nd day @ Karcool changi road - as the mechanics in kaki bukit advice me to come changi road. Over here, they are professional in audio and aircon. I told them my problem and without delay, it just sloved with a snap.
