Had a good experience at Lee Beng Tyre today. Changed my stock rims and tyres were due for replacement too. Speedy and polite replies via Carousell. Price is reasonable and they have the cleanest workshop I have ever been to. There's a small air-conditioned room you can wait and admire the various rims while work is done outside. - Rashid Ahmad

Was refer by a friend saying they charge market rate. Indeed it was not expensive as they charge market rate. Went down, boss (Ah Hong) was nice and smiley and manage to convince me to change all 4 tyres instead of just 2. Tyre change went well and I happily drive off my car as per normal. However, when I drove above 80km/h my steering wheel start to wobble terribly. Obviously during the changing of tyres, the balancing wasn't done properly. I went back the next day and told the boss the wobble issues and maybe it's the issues of the balancing of the new tyres. His usual smiley face turn black and look pissed. He ignore me and just ask his staff to check. After taking out the rim and check, the balancing was off by 55 points!! Only change and did the balancing a days ago, the balancing of the wheel can't be off by so much. Curiously, I ask why the balancing is off so fast. One question from me only. The boss started saying to himself " The tyres is so cheap already still kpkb so much, nowadays people so cheapo". I was surprised and furious by his statement as I brought the tyres at market rate (he didn't give any discount), and is his balancing wasn't properly done. I told him that people won't want to waste their precious time and drive all the way to his shop and complain if there isn't any problem. This kind of boss only can do business if you have no issues with his installation. Once you have issues with the installation, tyres or rims, you will get his black face and sarcastic remarks with personal Attack. Once off business, done.

Met Hong online, and I believe he runs the business together with his dad.

We corresponded online over tyre recommendations and rim choices and finally settled on a date to swap out my stock rims.

So far pricing from his workshop is the most competitive. Workmanship is good, and very detailed as well.

Mechanic also advised me on the adequate pressure for optimal driving experience, and was okay with me watching over his shoulder the entire time (new car owner, so typically i was very KPO with the whole process and everyone was really chill about it).

Overall a very pleasant experience! Will definitely recommend for the service, pricing and convenient location (super close to AMK Ave 3 exit from CTE).
