Lye Workshop was honest and offered the most economical solution for my dent. If you can see the attached picture, it was quite heavily dented on the FHR. No marks could be seen after Mr Lye's work.

Have compared his price to some of the other workshops who quoted me and it was definitely cheaper than them (e.G. Rezol)

The car was ready for pickup in a day (dropped off Saturday 8:45AM, picked up 6:45PM same day!) so the convenience factor was a real plus for me.

PDR quoted 60% Recovery. Ley has restored the dent on my boot lid with close to perfection in 30-45 mins. Excellent service and value for money.

I always accompany a friend to lye when ever he accumulate enough dents to remove it one go. I always amazed by his skill.

It was not till I got this dent on my boot that sunk in all the way to the structure, that I think he skill was tested because it is really difficult especial at the bends and the extend of the deformation. I was hoping that I don't have to respray and lye can restore the dent no less than 2 fists area.

I sent in the car in the morning. Got it back in the late afternoon. I am total amazed and satisfied. IMHO, it is not expensive.

My front bumper had some obvious paint chips after being scraped by unknown object/person. I sent my car to Lye Design for respraying after reading some positive feedback about them. Big mistake! Let me explain why. First, they charged $180 for part of the bumper. I was later told that some workshops only charge $100 to $150 for the whole bumper. Second, they don't have painting facility and the job was actually sub to another workshop. One year down the road, lacquer the size of a 10-cent coin peeled off. I called Lye and even emailed a photo of the peeling. They responded by saying it could be due to knocks by other vehicles/objects or even roadside incense burning. In other words, they tried to push away responsibility by saying the fault is not theirs. If it is a knock, then it won't just be lacquer peeling, there would also be dent, crack or scratch. Also, that's the only spot with the peeling. So is it purely coincidental that the peeling occurs there? For info, I have very good care of my car. They also said that all services and products have limited warranty, but is paint supposed to last only one year? If you wish to patronise them, do it at your own risk!

Was disappointed.. V-tech auto charge me less than half the amount Lye Design quoted me for repair/respray for small dent at rear bumper.

I am satisified with their workmanship. Good job done

Just to share something with everyone. After much comparision, seems to me that Lye Design is much cheaper than PDR for removing dents.
