My car was stalling every few kilometers especially when the car was at a junction. Once the RPM's drop to the base idling RPMs it would just cut off. I needed a place near my workplace and was slightly hesitant as this is not my usual workshop.

Once I arrived, the Uncle jumped up to greet me! I was slightly concerned as compared with the other workshops - this was relatively quieter! I explained the situation and he immediately told me that it was my Cam AND Crank shaft sensors! Upon hearing that sensors were involved - I was hesitant as it meant $$$$$ and I thought I was being taken for a ride. However, I had Hobson's choice as I needed it sorted immediately.

Cam and Crank shaft sensors replaced ... Engine coolant topped up and decided to put off changing my engine mounts (Uncle told me that there were worn but not a requirement to change) - approx $260 paid. I have no idea if this was reasonable and the type the sensors he had put it.

However, the problem has been solved and I have been driving my car for the last 2 weeks without a recurrence of the problem. He was spot on! I am impressed!

I will return to him if I had more issues.

Was first recommended to them by a friend who used to patronise Seng Long.

First visit there to fix up self-inflicted dents on bumper and side of car. Got charged $300 for the job (including spray paint) and collected on the same day evening.

Second visit there for routine servicing. I had compiled a list of problems with my 7yr old car and posed it to him. I felt that the boss, Alan Loo, gave me very straightforward and objective opinions which greatly helped me to make informed decision on whether to proceed with to fix those problems or not.

Had a problem with my front passenger door lock stuck, called before coming, the mech uncle said better to leave overnight for him to check cos not so easy to remove the door panel as the door could not open at all. Lock was fixed and replaced by the next day, cost was reasonable as well. Will come again for fuss free and efficient service!

Car approaching 75K , at 2.6 years old. Last few visits to workshops getting bugged to change brake pads and skim rotors. did research and plucked confidence to get parts from(ric-tat)stockist and go to workshop. Surfed around and saw Seng Long mentioned in Edix fourm, called agreed on price ...brought rotors and barake pad. There asked him to check if i even needed to change rotors, his mechanic Ah wing was nice and friendly, checked and said no need...very honest, job done on Saturday afternoon, professionally and well done...all my fears went away..been going to workshops always kena chopped. I spoke to boss and he is OK for labour only type jobs too!! well pleased since his work is GOOD!!..am loking forward to next affordable servicing with no nonsense recommendations...Alan and his mechanic pretty honest!! and definitely reasonable
