I rented a 10ft lorry with canopy from Eng Hup Vehicle Rental for a week, the person in-charge is Lim Kien Soon. My delivery driver collected the lorry on 24/9/2020 at 4.10pm. On 25/9/2020 at 9.20am, my delivery driver informed me that the lorry is not in a bad condition because (1) the oil indicator is not working (2) when driving speed is above 60km, lorry starts shaking badly. I then called Lim Kien Soon to request for an exchange of a functional lorry but he said there was none. I then requested to return the vehicle and for a refund for the remaining 6 days, but he refused.

This is a dishonest and unreasonable part on the rental company as they have given me a FAULTY vehicle which can jeopardize the safety of my workers in the lorry. The fact that they refused to refund me subsequently is absolutely unreasonable.

There is always a reason why this shop which is at the middle of the terrace that is the most inaccessible but with the longest in the return in customer vehicles.

This place is a hidden gem. I did my timing belt and water pump etc etc (original) set for 300 bucks inclusive of labour. Other quotes ranged from 500 to 700. The experience is not that great. This is a crowded, hot and old place. But as long as you know exactly what you are looking for, this is a bargain. The mechanics know what they are doing. They work fast.
