There are screeching sound coming from the transmission when accelerating.
After reading positive reviews & Since they are specialize on transmission, trusted that it wouldn't go wrong.
Initally their mechanic rectify the problems from the clutch & Would suggest to have it overhaul.
After collected my car, the screeching sound still persist and they concluded was the bearing & Need to be replaced.
When re-collected again, not only the screeching sound still persist, there are more problems to the transmission.
Eg. Jerking when gear shifting, shuddering when driving, leakage, drive shaft damaged, etc.
I have been sending my car in & Out several times, but issue still not solved.
Now already out of the warranty period, & Yet they just giving an excuse that it's beyond repaired.

Just few weeks ago, Multiple check-lights came on and I could not hit 1st gear and top gear.

I brought my car to my regular servicing workshop and they were not familiar with this problem. So they "sub-contract" it to Lim Tan Motor to diagnose the fault.

After which, they told me is either :
- overhaul gear box, $5K+ or
- change valve body, $2K+
But they also not very sure which one will work.

I got a recommendation to try Ellipse Auto Transmission. They checked for me and confirm is the valve body that's spoilt. But to help me save cost, they help me change only the faulty components in the valve body, which is the 8 solenoids. Total cost about $1.5K.

Very talkative old man who treats even 1st time customer like old friends.

They occupy 2 units at AMK Autopoint. From my 2 visits there, 1st time to put car, 2nd time to collect, they seem like a damn busy workshop. Quite many cars all jacked up and repair-under-progress. Many others should have had good experience there.
