If you are looking to rent a car for private-hire (PHV) or personal use, do yourself a huge favor and stay far away from Lion City Rentals (LCR).They are quick to collect your rental fees every week, but completely unhelpful and irresponsible when the vehicle breaks down or requires critical mechanical maintenance.My Experience:Driving an Unsafe Vehicle: My rental car developed a severely faulty wheel bearing, making a loud, dangerous grinding noise. Despite a faulty wheel bearing being a major safety hazard that can cause a wheel to lock up at high speeds, LCR refused to take the car in for repairs.Terrible Customer Service: They will actively downplay mechanical faults just to keep the car on the road so they can continue charging you daily rental fees. Trying to get a response or a workshop slot from their team is an absolute nightmare.Zero Support for Drivers: They do not care about driver safety or your livelihood. If the car is faulty, you are stuck paying full rent for a dangerous vehicle while they stall and drag their feet on repairs.The Verdict:LCR is an unreliable company with terrible fleet upkeep and shocking customer service. Do not fall for their promotions. Save yourself the stress, the lost income, and the safety risk—rent from other major fleet operators instead.

I rented a Mazda 3 from LCR. Booked a 8AM appointment so that I can have the servicing and change of one tire done before I head back to work. I reached at 805AM because there was no parking space, and the CS only collected my key at 855AM after slowly strolling in. When I check on the status of the car at 1025AM like one and a half hours later, the car is still parked at the same place and nothing was done. My past experience with LCR has been, I will have to wait for 5 hours or more to get a simple servicing or repair done, even after booking an appointment. If possible, I will give zero stars out of 5.

I was at Lion City Rentals today and I was really amazed at the efficiency of the staff and the product knowledge that they posses. I was really convinced to rent a car and proceeded to rent it. They really provide the lowest prices for car rentals and I will certainly recommend my friends to the store.
They also showed really deep technical knowledge of the different cars and showed the features of their recommended cars that they have.
Overall, I had an extremely pleasant experience in the store and will strongly recommend people who wants to rent cars to visit Lion City Rentals

Great service and convenient to get everything done in one place

Hi. I just got to know that most of the reviews or perhaps all of them are fakes . I heard the reviews are done by the staffs which was directed by the company. It is so saddening when I got to know about this . So I'm just doing my part to warn everyone who's thinking of renting cars from LCR. Most of the cars are not even available . All those promises but most of us are still in the waiting list . And every time we called to ask about updates on our cars , it was always left unanswered . Are not even clear on their briefings , customer service are not even good and most of them are so rude . No much people that are facing this knows about this forum but if they do I'm sure not all the reviews will be a good one . I'm just helping out so everyone knows the truth . Pardon me .
