Did not have good experience here. The workshop wanted me to re-purchase a $750 item twice when the first one they provided spoiled. Item was marketed to come with one year warranty, but Star Auto / Zion Auto did not honour the warranty.

Found out later from some friend that they faced similar issues with this shop.

As such, not coming back.

Found out through public records that the owner of the establishment, Star Auto and Zion Auto have been prosecuted for cheating. Thus, it makes sense now!!

I have overhaul gearbox, change engines oil, recommended me to change O ring sensor, change control arm, change all absorber which I choose to beloved them not even checking when collecting the car. After two day there is smoke from bornet, after I open up the engine oil cap are not properly tighten and break caused the engine oil splash out and oil stain the engine and cable. My Advise to all owner to check before you leave the workshop, personally I have a very bad experience with the workshop, after a few day car start to go wrong and start battery flat and ac blower won't turn off after engine turn off. the feed back from the workshop is "I pass you the car in good condition" And say my car is old and start to spoilt can't blame them. I could said they are irresponsible. Spend few thousand for a bad experience..

Avoid thia chop shop. My gearbox got problem and after drive test. The workshop suggested using so call very good itAly brand addictive by the brand of Estremo Nano to try first as it improves many of his vehicle before. I was charge $200 for 2 bottle and only to realise later that outside is selling the same addictive at a common price of only $25 per bottle. $150 charge for just pouring the addictive into the gearbox!!!!!! Very unethical!
And of course, the addictive doesnt help a single after days of driving.

Star Auto charges 280sgd for oil change and oil filter change. They say this is cos they use Liquimoly oil. Unsure if this is the market rate, but lower prices seem normal at other shops.

Wrap installed by them, removed by them, within warranty period. Lots of damage to the paintwork. Boot area, grille, side skirts, all have paint damage after removal. Stated by their team as caused by "Not expert" Worker. Would prefer more experienced people to work on vehicle, esp for paint which is expensive for me to fix. To be fair to Star Auto, they warned that there might be damage. They offered discount price to respray. But as consumer, if the wrap is already on the car, and they are supposed to be the workshop that uninstalls, telling me that damage is likely is very little consolation...

Pros is lounge has aircon and coffee. Turnaround time is reasonable.

Hong was great with customer service. Star Auto is a place where you can trust and relax.

I had a very good experience as the guys sorted my car problem efficiently at a reasonable cost.

I would highly recommend them.

Went to service my Suzuki. Surprising with their professional knowledge, good service, workmanship and after-sales service. Will definitely come back.
