I was sold a SAIL AGM 50 car battery for $320 during a recovery. I was reluctant to pay so much for a car battery but the technician claimed that it was a high specs battery which will last me 2-3 years.
This battery became bad in less than 6 months. Called them again after I couldn't start my car. They came down, checked my battery and I saw a message BAD CELL, REPLACE on their tester. However they insisted that my alternator was bad. I still had to pay them $60 to jump-start my car.
The next day I took my car to my agent workshop to check on the battery and alternator. A Midtronics battery test was done which found the battery verified with the same message BAD CELL, REPLACE. My alternator is still healthy and working well.
They were trying to shift the blame instead of taking responsibility. I found it really difficult to converse with such disgusting people.
