I would like to give a shout out to Kun for being so responsive in our WhatsApp communication. The moment I spoke with Kun and Vincent, they made me feel very comfortable and confident that they know their stuff (I visited another 2 workshop with quite good Google reviews, and made me feel unsure and uncertain whether to proceed) I had an unfortunate small accident which requires little touch up and minor panel beating. The price was reasonable. Kun was professional and didn't promise me that I can have the car that quickly but said he would update me as soon as possible. In the end i managed to retrieve within 1.5 days despite them having many other jobs on hand. Saved me lots of grab fare! From dark blue to Porsche Crayon Cheng Chuan's workmanship is excellent; no orange peel on the paintwork and the lacquer was nicely done. They paid much attention to detail as evidenced in all the grooves and lining, as they disassemble doors, windows, etc. to gain access to the smallest detail. The final product is seamless like factory finish, painted before assembly. Thanks to Kun who oversees all my requirements. Roger who served me is also very resourceful. Apart from specialises in spray painting, one can get basically anything through Roger who collaborates with other specialists; exhaust, coilovers, mod parts, tuning, etc. I've lowered my car with BCRC and they are excellent for their price and some other mod parts. Cheng Chuan offers a one stop solution for all automotive needs. Highly recommended and I can't see how anyone can go wrong with Cheng Chuan. Got my first car from dealer but the paintwork was very bad. So went to check around and saw Chen Chuan Motor. I went down there to enquiry and was planning do a touch up only if possible. So went down talk to the Boss (Roger) and Sales Person Kun who explained to me that instead of doing a touch up they offer a package to do the whole car in and out as the defect was quite bad. They explained the Price and showed the product use on the car. Very transparent on the details and even explained the pros and cons on certain product and certain colour. They even sell Bodykits. Hehe. So went to purchase a bodykit from them and did a whole spray. They update the process via WhatsApp and even manage to accommodate due to some last min changes i made. During the collection they ask you check first for any defect before you drive off. Overall i’m satisfied with their service and after sales service was very prompt. My journey with Cheng Chuan (Roger, Vincent and Kun), was nothing lesser than impeccable. Their team was friendly and professional with a bespoke service with a lasting impression.. Especially, with Roger who is the 3rd generation leader that is taking over a well established workshop with more than 30 years of heritage. I first came across Cheng Chuan, to remove an old wrap with a complete respray for my car on Carousell. I contacted Roger and he was responsive and informative, an appointment was made quickly. First contact with Roger may make you think and feel that such a young individual maybe not be up to the mark,but he is definitely technically capable to advise me on the issues with my old car wrap and what paint colours would be suitable for my make and model, alongside with the colours I have request to view samples. Plus his value added services that he explains and does as a one stop car detailing and styling professional will give a peace of mind to willingly hand over your car to safe hands. He is also not the typical 'car sales man' that one would expect, to upsell and push for the deal to close, he understood that I needed to time consider and even compare with his competitors. And talking to him subsequently, reassured me that he is ahead of his peers, as he clearly knew what other workshops were capable of and who was even in charge there and possible people I would be have spoken to. He was extremely patient to explain and repeatedly reiterate answers to my questions. The overall process took about 10 days over the festive period and he managed to deliver early on the 8th day. The paint job was excellently carried out with all the corners and joints well covered for an external only paint job and this definitely surprises me, as I would have expected the areas that cannot be seen when the doors are closed to be roughly finished. I was truly impressed by the workmanship and professionalism. Price wise, Roger was clear, transparent and precise with his scope and breakdown charges, you would not feel any ambiguity in what you are paying of. When it comes to budget constraints, he would also offer choices for you to consider. Hence, he definitely someone trustable. He will not be the cheapest, but he would definitely be someone that won me over with his service standards and delivery.
