In the second round of bidding for January, Certificate of Entitlement (COE) prices rose across all categories.
The announced contraction of COE supply in the upcoming quarter, alongside the upcoming Lunar New Year holiday may have perked interest in new car puchases during the last two weeks. This could also explain the upsurge in bids received in both Cat B and Cat E compared to the last bodding session.
