Volvo Car U.S.A has announced that its entire lineup of cars will only consist of mild hybrid, hybrid or all-electric vehicles come 2023.
The announcement comes as the popular XC90 and XC40 SUVs, as well as the V60 Cross Country are now offered with mild hybrid engines as standard (badged B4, B5, and B6), moving the Swedish one step closer on its commitment to offer only purely electric vehicles by 2030.
Volvo Car U.S.A has also announced that it plans to roll out its Android-powered infotainment system with Google built-in - already standard on the full-electric C40 Recharge and XC40 Recharge, as well as the XC60, S90, and V90 Cross Country - across its entire range in the U.S.A for model year 2023.
The new system will offer Google Assistant for voice control, Google Maps as the native navigation system, and the Google Play store for additional apps, offering a best-in-class digital experience for every Volvo owner.
