Opel has announced that its sales of the Crossland have crossed the 500,000 mark since its launch in 2017.
The firm attributes this sales success to the generous space the Crossland offers despite its small footprint. This is further complemented by a 60:40 split-folding rear seat bench, which can be moved longitudinally by up to 150mm, depending on the variant, allowing boot space to be increased from 410 litres to 520 litres.
A modern look, thanks to the application of the Opel Vizor at the front, alongside the suite of safety systems offered on the Opel Crossland including Intelligent Cruise Control, Lane Keep Assist and Traffic Sign Recognition all are also stated to add to the appeal of the crossover.
The Opel Crossland is produced at the firm's Zaragoza plant in Spain. Opel has already announced that the successor, like every new Blitz model, will also be electrified. From 2028 onwards, Opel will purely sell electric vehicles in Europe.
