The LF-NX Turbo concept's bold, striking and innovative exterior reflects a further evolution of Lexus' design language, bringing more distinctive and sculpted styling to the premium compact crossover segment for the first time.

The revised frontal treatment sees the Lexus spindle grille gain a smoked chrome trim and the addition of a narrow, black mesh lower air intake above a matt chrome chin spoiler. The effect is to reinforce the crossover’s lower centre of gravity and sportier performance.
At the rear, a new lower bumper design is underscored by a full-width aerodynamic diffuser with a matt chrome finish. This is flanked by highly sculpted chrome exhausts, shaped to echo the styling the of the vertical air intakes in the front wings.
In a continuation of the 'Human Oriented' L-finesse design concept realised in both the LFA supercar and new IS sedan, the interior mirrors the LF-NX Turbo's highly-sculpted exterior styling. It features bold, powerful forms which create a driver-focused cockpit within an ergonomically ideal environment.

The LF-NX Turbo concept is equipped with Lexus' first turbocharged engine. The 2.0-litre, four-cylinder unit combines Lexus' advanced high tumble port, fan spray fuel injection, D-4S and VVT-iw combustion technologies with a cylinder head-integrated exhaust manifold and a twin scroll turbocharger with an active wastegate valve.
Through optimisation of the exhaust gas temperature, the cylinder head-integrated exhaust manifold combines a high level of performance with fuel efficiency, and clean exhaust emission reliability, while the twin scroll turbocharger operates effectively across the widest possible rev range.
The LF-NX Turbo's new powerplant targets a fast throttle response and exhilarating performance while demonstrating outstanding fuel efficiency.

The LF-NX Turbo shares the innovative, striking design of the hybrid version (HV) that was presented earlier this year in Frankfurt, with the addition of numerous detail changes to the exterior and interior that reflect the performance potential of its new 2.0-litre turbo engine.
