In a blink of an eye, 2014 has past and we are already into the second week of the new year. It seems like the market has adjusted to new regulations, as we have seen demands for new cars staying strong.
While we're staying hopeful that more COEs will be released in the coming months, car fans can also rejoice as close to 50 new models are slated to be launched on our sunny shores soon.
Here's a sneak peek of the star-studded lineup of 2015.

Arriving: Q1 2015
The much-anticipated super sports car from Alfa Romeo combines traditional two-door, two-seater and rear-wheel drive traits in a small and ultra-lightweight package for the ultimate driver experience. Driving the coupe is a 1.7-litre four-cylinder turbocharged unit that pushes 237bhp and 350Nm of torque. While not impressive figures, they are enough to launch the 895kg sports car from 0 to 100km/h in just 4.5 seconds.
Giulietta QV
Arriving: Q1 2015
Sharing the same drivetrain as the 4C coupe, the Giuletta QV has a turbocharged 1.7-litre four-cylinder plant that puts out 240bhp and 300Nm of torque. With help from a six-speed dual-clutch gearbox, the hatchback can complete the century sprint in just six seconds flat.
Rapide S
Arriving: Q1 2015
The British marque's four-door cruiser, the Rapide S, will get an updated 5.9-litre V12 with slightly more grunt - 552bhp and 630Nm of torque. Like the Vanquish, it will also receive the new eight-speed transmission (up from six-speed previously). Likewise, the brakes and suspension have also been upgraded.

Aston Martin's carbon fibre-skinned flagship sports car will receive a new eight-speed Touchtronic 3 gearbox. The advanced and lightweight Torque Converter has a lower inertia and helps to improve the throttle response further, while achieving better fuel efficiency at the same time.

The A1 range has been comprehensively refreshed, while keeping a strong focus on fuel efficiency. The smart city hatchback is now up to 10 percent more frugal than before, and will come equipped with an entirely new electromechanical power steering system.

Audi's popular executive sedan will receive a facelift in 2015, which will feature new engines, transmissions, headlamps, and a new infotainment system. As a result, the A6 is now more efficient and powerful, while keeping its low weight and high rigidity thanks to intelligent composite construction.

Audi's stylish five-door tourer has been refreshed with changes to its singleframe grille, bumpers and light cluster, which has LED lights and Matrix LED headlamps. The A7 Sportback will also come with new engine configurations that are more efficient than before, as well as new infotainment systems.

Inheriting the iconic traits of the marque, the Q3's chassis combines agile handling with supreme safety, with fine tunings to the car's setup to ensure a more comfortable ride than before. The compact SUV also has 10 more horses than before, and yet is 17 percent more fuel efficient.
TT Coupe
Arriving: Q1 2015
One of the highlights for Audi is the third generation TT sports car, which will feature the marque's innovative virtual cockpit and an array of innovative engine technologies. Both the TT and TTS will come with turbocharged 2.0-litre units, though the latter will be tuned for 310bhp and 380Nm of torque - versus the TT's 230bhp and 370Nm of torque.
TT and TTS Roadster
Arriving: Q3 2015
Hot behind the heels of its coupe stablemates, the TT and TTS Roadster feature a thoroughly reworked folding soft-top that operates in a brisk 10 seconds. With the roof up, the roadster has a drag coefficient of just 0.30Cd, a figure that Audi claims to be the top amongst compact drop-top sports cars.

Bentley's flagship sedan gets more power underneath the skin, with the renowned 6.75-litre twin-turbo V8 pushing out a mighty 630 horses and 1,100Nm of torque. This grants the ultra-luxury sedan a century sprint timing of 4.9 seconds and a top speed of 305km/h. On top of the power hike, fuel efficiency is improved by 13 percent.
2 Series Convertible and M235i Convertible

BMW's compact 2+2 coupes, the 2 Series and M235i, return with convertible variants that promise exhilarating performance and dynamic handling characteristics matched with drop-top motoring fun. Both convertibles are unique in their segment, with a newly developed electronically powered fabric top with improved insulation for better comfort. The top opens and closes in 20 seconds - even at speeds of up to 50km/h.
X6
Arriving: Q1 2015
BMW has worked at making the new X6 more practical and comfortable. The X6 xDrive50i will feature the carmaker's latest V8 unit, which develops 450bhp and like the X5 range, the X6 model lineup will be joined by the xDrive 35i, which has a 306bhp petrol unit, as well as a 258bhp xDrive30d diesel variant.
X5M, X6M and X6 M50d

Bavaria's pair of tarmac-burning SUVs is back, boasting a more dynamic stance than before. Underneath their hoods lie a 4.4-litre V8 unit that produces a maximum output of 575bhp - a four percent increase over their predecessors. Yet at the same time, fuel consumption has been reduced by 20 percent.
On the other hand, the X6 M50d will pack a 381bhp Tri-turbo diesel in-line six diesel engine.

Arriving: Q1 2015
Citroen's futuristic-looking compact crossover will showcase various innovative and functional features. The anti-ding Airbump technology, which is fitted on both sides of the car and its bumpers, adds a graphic structure and is available in four colours. Owners can have a wide range of customisation options by matching them with ten body colours. Weighing just 975kg, the C4 Cactus will harness efficient energy from the latest drivetrain and emit CO2 levels of less than 100g/km.
Ford
Focus
Arriving: Q1 2015
Ford's popular family hatchback receives a more striking exterior, while the interior receives a slight makeover for a more mature look. Like the Fiesta, the Focus is slated to receive the marque's award-winning downsized engines for better efficiency and performance.
Mondeo
Arriving: Q1 2015
The new Ford Mondeo is one of the most technologically advanced models in its arena, and will come brim-filled with features such as adaptive LED head lights, a 10-inch digital-analogue instrument display, multi-function connectivity, highly effective climate control and hands-free parking assistance.
Mustang

For the first time, Ford will build its iconic muscle car in a right-right drive version. While the coupe was designed from scratch, it remains unmistakable as a Mustang. Two variants will be on offer - a 5.0-litre V8 and a 2.3-litre turbocharged in-line-four.



CR-V
Arriving: Q1 2015
Honda's family SUV gets a slight makeover on the outside, with trendy-looking daytime running lights and reworked bumpers to give off a modern appeal. The cabin will also receive updates to boast better creature comforts and utility.
HR-V
Arriving: Q3 2015
Honda's compact crossover takes little effort in attracting eyeballs with its smart and trendy look. Essentially an SUV version of the Jazz hatchback, the HR-V's compact dimensions make it highly appealing to city dwellers. At the same time, it also has a highly versatile cabin, which is the most spacious in its class.
Mobilio

The Mobilio is Honda's answer to the Toyota Avanza. The seven-seater mini MPV has been thoroughly revised and improved from its predecessor, and is propelled by a 1.5-litre unit coupled to a CVT gearbox.

With a fresh new exterior and available long wheelbase version, the new 2015 Infiniti Q70 targets a new vehicle class by fusing the emotion-packed character of a performance vehicle with the comfort and exclusiveness of an extended sedan. The rear-wheel drive sedan is also the first in its class to sport an aluminium-intensive monocoque chassis for weight saving and high rigidity purposes.

The Rio is Kia's best-selling model last year, and has been substantially refreshed for 2015. The supermini recently made its world debut at the Paris Motor Show last October. Besides the updated 'Tiger-Nose' grille, a design signature of the Korean brand, the front bumper and rims have also been redesigned.

Kia's seven-seater SUV returns with a full makeover for 2015. Design of the fresh sheet metal draws inspiration from the Cross GT concept, while its wheelbase and width have been extended for a roomier cabin.
Discovery Sport

As the first member of the new Discovery family, the Discovery Sport marks a significant start for the marque. Despite having a footprint that is no bigger than conventional five-seater SUVs, the compact SUV features a 5+2 seating layout for added versatility.
NX Turbo

The NX is the first model from Lexus to sport a turbocharged engine. The 2.0-litre turbo petrol in the NX200t is coupled to an advanced six-speed automatic transmission that is specially tuned for the NX. Like the NX Hybrid, which was launched last year, the NX200t will come with intuitive features that will complement the driver's active lifestyle, such as the segment-first power-reclining rear seats.
RC350 and RC F

With a captivating design, the RC Coupe has stole the limelight at various car shows. But more than just a beauty, Lexus claims that each detail of the exterior styling helps maximise aerodynamic or cooling efficiency. Two variants will be launched in Singapore, with the range-topping RC F sporting a 5.0-litre V8 with 470bhp and 530Nm of torque on tap - the most powerful V8 unit from the Japanese carmaker.
CX-3

The CX-3 is part of the automaker's ambitious model offensive in the new year. Like its new generation stablemates, the CX-3 features the full SkyActiv technology lineup, including both petrol and diesel powertrain options, as well as SkyActiv-Drive transmission technology.

Much loved for its svelte and stylish design, the CLA-Class receives a Shooting Brake variant for more practicality. Boot space has been increased by 22 litres over the standard variant to 492 litres, and can be further expanded to 1,354 litres with the seats down. The Shooting Brake will also be fitted with the latest generation of telematics systems, supported by a free-standing 7.0-inch display screen.
GLE Coupe

The crossover between a coupe and an SUV is a new class of vehicle that has been recently introduced to Mercedes' family. The range-topping variant, the GLE450 AMG, is also Mercedes' first model in its new AMG sports range. It will also feature a slew of driver assistance systems, as well as a 9G-TRONIC nine-speed automatic transmission and 4MATIC permanent all-wheel drive.
Mercedes-AMG C 63

Mercedes' answer to the BMW M3 will now be called the Mercedes-AMG C 63. With a 4.0-litre V8 tuned to provide 510bhp (in the C 63 S variant), the compact sedan can launch from 0 to 100km/h in four seconds flat. Besides potent performance, the C 63 claims a fuel economy of 12.2km/L, making it the most fuel efficient eight-cylinder car in its segment.
Mercedes-AMG GT

Filling the tall hats set by the SLS AMG supercar, the AMG GT is the second sports car that is developed entirely in-house by the team at Mercedes-AMG. Underneath its hood is a 4.0-litre Bi-turbo V8 engine, which has been developed specifically for the sports car. With up to 510bhp and 650Nm of torque (in the range-topping GT S variant), the century sprint is completed in a sprightly 3.8 seconds.

Reviving the Maybach nameplate, Stuttgart's ultra-luxury flagship sedan promises a new level of hand-crafted refinement, personalisation and prestige. The cabin has been extended by 200mm over the 'standard' S-Class to boast more legroom for rear passengers, who will be cocooned in two Executive Rear Seats with electronically adjustable calf support and a 43.5-degree incline angle.

Golf Sportsvan

The successor to the Golf Plus, the Sportsvan, is the third body version of the Golf family. The five-seater MPV is 50mm longer than the Golf, with its wheelbase extended by 107mm from its predecessor to offer more space for rear passengers. A key characteristic of the Sportsvan is the standard 60:40 split rear bench that features individual longitudinal adjustment of its sections.

Volkswagen's popular 2+2 hatchback coupe receives its much-awaited update, with slight refinement to the design, while featuring new powerplants that are more powerful yet more efficient than before.
Touareg

Making its debut at the Beijing Auto Show, the facelifted Touareg features a host of revamps, such as a new front end with larger headlamps - with bi-xenon headlamps offered as standard across the entire range. It will also get an automatic post-collision braking system as standard.
