As part of Aston Martin's ultra-luxury retail strategy and investment in customer experience, the brand has opened the doors to its global flagship in Tokyo: Aston Martin Ginza.
The state-of-the-art showroom is Aston Martin's first showroom in Asia which fully embraces the brand's refreshed corporate identity, and is housed in The Peninsula Tokyo - one of the city's most prestigious luxury hotels. Spanning two storeys and an area of 324 square metres, the space can host up to three cars at once, and also houses a large digital media wall and a customer lounge in which customers can create their personalised Aston Martin.
The opening of Aston Martin Ginza follows in the footsteps of the brand's first global flagship facility in New York, dubbed Q New York. This time round, Tokyo was specifically selected due to its status as one of the world's most sophisticated luxury capitals, and also because of its growth potential. The city was the number one location for Aston Martin sales in 2023.
More broadly throughout Japan, the firm has also seen growing demand for its vehicles, stating that there is a strong customer inclination towards the DBX707, and notable excitement for the DB12 and the new Vantage.
The brand has also noticed a growing interest in personalisation across the luxury vehicle segment, and introduced its bespoke 'Q by Aston Martin' service a few years back to take the fight of exclusivity to other luxury brands. Limited-edition machines, such as the DBR22, the DBS770 Ultimate, and the Aston Martin Valkyrie and Valour, attest to the firm's efforts to expand its bespoke programme, which experienced a 36% year-on-year growth in 2023.
With these insights, Aston Martin has decided to bring the service to Japan as well, providing its Japanese customer base with an opportunity to create their personal Aston Martin now in a gleaming-new, sumptuous sanctuary.
