Audi brings sports streaming service app DAZN to its cars

Audi drivers worldwide who happen to be avid fans of football (American and international) and basketball have new reason to rejoice.
The German carmaker has announced that it has made British sports streaming service app, DAZN, available in its vehicles. Directly downloadable from the Audi Application Store, the app has been extended for now to select vehicles running the Android-based infotainment system natively, which includes the all-new Audi A5, Q5, A6, A6 e-tron and Q6 e-tron.
The integration of DAZN within Audi's native infotainment system means that sports fans can now enjoy live sports, highlights and documentaries on the new 14.5-inch MMI touch display during charging breaks, for instance.
Most of the latest-generation models mentioned above also offer a 10.9-inch passenger display as an option, which can be used for streaming at all times whether at rest or on the move without distracting the driver (thanks to a smart protective film). Specific content segments that Audi owners can look forward to include the UEFA Champions League, the FIFA Club World Cup 2025, American sports including the NFL and NBA, and handball and golf.
The integration of DAZN natively into Audi's latest-generation infotainment system marks yet another expansion of the range of apps the German carmaker is extending to its drivers. Thus far, third-party apps including Amazon Music, Audible, Spotify and YouTube, have already been made available on the Audi Application Store.
